Stay with the stock rims / sizes.
Opt for something like the new Super Sports or similar tire. These are designed to perform well and give reasonably long service life.
If you drive mellow and take it easy, the tires should last 20-25k miles.
I managed to destroy a set of rear tires in one day...
How old are they, and how much is plenty of meat?
I am very interested in them, as practice scrubs if nothing else.
I'm probably the only guy that runs the 275 front R6 anyway.
On 2 occasions, I've had sportbikes mess with me on the highway. They give up after about 140. I rock up to 170/175ish for a bit, they stop bugging me after that.
Haven't done that in quite a while............
There's a rain mode in the new Viper? :omg:
What is the world coming to? :dunno:
..........are they trying to make the Viper into a car?
What's next.......................a back seat for children?
...more cupholders?
automatic dual climate control?
smoother running engine with quiet...
Thanks.
I have the VERUS because I think it is the most complete aftermarket scan tool available.
I service all makes including Euro and Asian stuff.
Also have a J2534 programmer for flashing.
Thinking about the wiTECH, but eventually the VERUS will be able to emulate it.
Software updates are...
I had the same issue after installing SS lines on mine.
Didn't have all the air out of the calipers after the line swap.
Bled thoroughly a second time and fixed it.
...............don't for get about the bleeder screws on the inside.
that was the idiot mistake I made .....being in a hurry...
Does the wiTECH not retro back to earlier model year vehicles?
I use the Snap-on VERUS for everything.
Does everything the OEM Chrysler tools do except for no access to the chassis system on the ZB platform (Viper) -for reprogramming the TPMS.
And no ability to reprogram the SKREEM on any...
I had a Saturn Sky Redline before the Viper.
The handling characteristics of that car were amazing.
I sometimes think about getting another one for a daily driver.
............but then what would I do with the Corvette.
Oh yeah,........ if you are contemplating a Viper because you think it's a really 'nice car', or something like that, you are wrong.
The Viper is a pissed-off monster.
.............if you want a really nice sports car, get a Corvette. -They are nice. I love mine.
But it is the exact opposite...
If you need a car, the Viper is terrible. Probably one of the worst things you could get.
If you are looking for the most fun, captivating thrill ride that will change the way you perceive life, .....
.....Viper.
Absolutely not for everybody.
Vipers are for crazy people.
I also have an SRT8...
I will take the 5th on the facility disclosure.
If you are used to rocking 150 in the 1/4 mile in drag cars, the Viper will feel like a slouch in comparison. :(
Just remember, the Viper is not set up as a drag car in stock form.
Vipers are dominant on the roadcourse (with a good driver). :2tu...
150 would be crazy in that car if the wing is producing downforce and the front of the car is stock.
If it's fairly neutral and just for looks, that's fine.
