Orlando's definitely a fun city (we have a condo there & try to go 2-3 times a year). There's so much to do, for kids & Grown-Up's (Always something going on)! MoparBoyy, I can imagine how you felt from living in Chi-Town all those years & then moving down to Orlando (had to feel like a...
I still don't understand why he's still considered his friends Hero when in fact his friend bought a vette AFTER riding in his GTS (it doesn't matter whether he's 6'4 or 6'5 & 300lbs he bought a vette over a Viper)? Lol!
I think they look great! The viper store has some with the chrome finish & I think those look horrible, that's the only place I've ever seen that had them for the gen II's, most of them are for the gen. III's. I imagine you'll have to be pretty careful getting in & out with them though, cause...
I guess a Woody to him is different than it is to you or me! Something must have really turned Sour for him to buy that after you giving him a ride in your GTS! To bad you didn't have an RT/10 for him to ride in, that would have SOLD Him! Lol!
I don't think it looks that bad, don't think I could do it if it was my car though (the blue definitely adds some nice color to the silver). As for all the looks from people out in public but everybody on here hating it, I think it would kind of be like putting Lambo doors on a Viper, everbody...
Man, this whole thread is getting screwed up! Darth, we still don't know what the 2 visor disguisors are (can you point us to your thread or just tell us about them). And the Sneaky Pete Ghost Hood Mod Klamathpro is talking about is my 2nd post (up top) with the pic after a lil' evening frost...
Awesome, I'll be here! Shane had surgery on his leg & will have to be off of it another 3 weeks so I'm Babysitting, House Keeping, Home Health Care Giver all in one! Do you still have my phone #, if not just pm me! How long will you be in town?
Ken, mine didn't cost $13 I made them with some paper thin plastic I had at my shop! I'm still waiting for Darth to tell us what the $13 fix is! Lol!
Here's a lil' closer pic!
OK Darth, the guys said enough so pm me if you must (& I'm not even a vette guy, but I'll take one for the team) but we REALLY SHOULD STOP THIS in broad daylight on a Viper Forum, LOL!
Another thing happened this evening that's never happened to me before (I know this is another thing thats been on here before too) car was out of the garage & it was getting a lil' cool in the evening & the sneaky pete logo was starting to come thru the hood!
If I remember correctly someone on here posted about how to remove the decals on your visors. I made a few for my car & put one on temporarily & was just wondering if ya'll think it looks OK or should I just leave the orginal decals on. Thanks
Fatboy, here's a pic of my brother's car (he also has one of those old Thunderbirds like from AG) its orginal so it doesn't have a big block! To me, this is what you should see if you look up Corvette in the dictionary! I like to wear my Viper Hero Shirt around him when I can! Lol!
Yeah, I guess living down here in the south we just kind of take it for granted! I couldn't imagine having to store my cars away for the winter either. But, I know around here we pray just to have a lil' snow stick here & there! Lol!
Yeah, listen to old school boy here he's usually right, Lol! Like he said you can usually look at the interior & see if they've been loved or not. They're like any other car though, you've got garage queens & you've got some that have been driven the hell out of. Not knowing where you live but...
That's why they had FREE BBQ, they just sold $700+ on JUST OIL on JUST 1 SALE! If you go thru that much oil I'd hate to see how many tires you go thru! Lol!
When my serpentine belt came off & some of the coolant overflowed it was a bright lime green. Is the Gen II's different than the Gen III's or does that mean somebody has put in a different coolant in it before. Never had any problems with it over-heating!
