Some dealerships (maybe even Bernie) will do an "in and out" meaning, you find a buyer for your car and the dealership will treat your sales price to your buyer as the trade in value on the new car. You'll get more money for your trade and pay less sales tax on the trade difference. Your buyer...
Why don't you simply call the dealership that has the car you're interested in and ask? They can probably give you a "good faith" trade in value assuming the condition of your vehicle is as described.
Arrow rebuilds were done on several Vipers going all the way back to the Gen I era but I don't recall Chrysler subsidizing loan payments. My Gen. I was in the shop for almost 2 months awaiting head gaskets back in 2000 and I asked the same question. It's worth a try. Maybe something has changed.
One thing to consider about modded cars: warranty claims. If the car is modded and you want to purchase an extended warranty to lessen your financial burden in case there is a failure, providers may reject your warranty claims. If you have the financial means to shell out thousands of dollars to...
Someone doesn't know what they are talking about. It has always been the Viper. The website still says Viper, the badging on the car still says Viper, the model VIN reference still lists Viper, and the window stickers for my '04 and '05 says Viper.
Ummmmm... he doesn't necessarily have to be specific about the year if he posted this question on the SRT10 forum. "Switching out the runflats" was the key.
You beat me to it. Someone definitely has been misinformed. Being from New Orleans and still owning property there plus surviving Ike a couple of years ago makes me fully aware of what hurricanes can do.
The only good thing about a tornado is that it won't wipe out an entire city.
Cannot seek or be awarded punitive damages in a civil case unless he can prove that the act the malicious and intentional. The act was appears to careless and unintentional but not malicious.
Most tire shops actually charge a $10 or so per sensor "rebuild kit" which is basically a replacement seal. They claim that once the sensor is removed and the seal is broken, the old seal may not seal properly and thus, won't hold tire pressure.
But for the most part, replacing a sensor is...
Looks like someone at some point may have removed your TPMS wheel sensors. The valve stem is part of the sensor unless there is some other stem that can be used on OE wheels to eliminate the wheel sensor. If the sensors are removed, you'd get the low pressure warning chime and dash indicator...
'08 OE hood with painted Commemorative Edition painted fang stripes for me also. Hood, paint, plus all of the other stuff (seals, screens, hood pad) brought the total to about $3k. I can post some pics if needed.
You are terribly wrong with the "deserved to get keyed part". Taking up two spots in a crowded parking lot is wrong and it may piss a few folks off but it doesn't give another the right to vandalize someone else's property. I personally wouldn't take up two spots in a crowded lot (I...
Don't quite know where you're coming from even though I've owned three in my eleven years of Viper ownership. I suppose I've been lucky.........
But you'll have to admit you set yourself up for that one....... making a statement like that on a VIPER forum. It's all fun though. :D
You can also remove the fender wells for easy access to that pesky 10mm forward nut. Good thing is you don't actually have to remove the nut - you just have to loosen it.
Go to the Corsa website and search for the installation instructions on how to install their system. The steps are basically the same and it also includes the removal of the sills, skid plate, and crossover. If you can't locate it, send me a PM with your email address and I'll send them to you...
They are painted on the Commemorative which has already been mentioned. I just had these painted on an '08 OE hood which is installed on my Commemorative. If you need the '03 - '06 Viper hood fang stripe dimensions, send me a PM with your email address. For any other Viper hood, you'll need to...
