I'm a fairly new Viper owner and wanted to know if there were any recalls in effect that affect my car (1994 RT). I've seen the service bulletins posted on this site.. but I am assuming that a TSB is not the same as a recall? If someone could clear this up for me I'd appreciate it.

Honestly sounds like the insurance broker is putting $500 or more of that a month into their own pocket.. go straight to the insurance agents.. skip the middleman.
Wow.. this is just the opposite of what my Insurance company said.. They told me that insurance on yellow vipers is highest because they are the slowest ones out there and that it was because the minivans and SUV's could catch up to them and hit them! They said the only way to cure...
Figgured I'd add mine in too.. Single, late 20's, multiple cars, full coverage from allstate with $250 deductible, california.... under $700 a year :smirk:
Allstate is the way to go.. once you have been with em a while the discounts really kick in
Eh is my math off or I'd say it was a $20 or more difference (depending on the item listed) ;)
Anyways, I am not going to knock it if there is competition for a product
few new photos of the \'94
I snapped a few more photos of my purple '94 if anyone is interested. They are in the gallery now under my name.
Cheers,

So far, my coworkers have been pretty cool about the whole thing.. I kind of kept it under wraps at first because I feared the sort of backlash you just described. All in all, it has been a positive thing and my easy answer out of the rich ba$tard thing is that they could have one in their...
I agree totally! anyone know what the deal is why 18" is so cheap and 17" stay high?
Normally, the larger the tire you go to the more you pay for it.. why is this the inverse with the 17 and 18's?
Ok.. Here's my question.. I live in an area where we get 80-110 inches of rain a year and there are days that I know I will get caught in serious downpours. Is there an issue with the NACA duct funneling a stream of water into the airbox? I would think at the very least it would...
Our local dragstrip will setting up their calendar for the 2003 season and I was wondering if there was any interest from the boards in attending a drag event. I may be able to rent out the dragstrip for a weekend if there was enough interest. The dragstrip is located between Arcata and Eureka...
Thanks much guys for the photos and tips on removal.. VERY helpful!
It looks like either way of repainting or doing a dash kit is very viable.. Who was the kit from/ price range? that carbon fiber really stands out.
Thanks,
-Bruce
I've noted that my top sags a bit in the front between the first spar and the leading edge.. Anyone encountered their tops sagging and how to correct it? Is there an easy way to get this tight or am i going to need to visit my local upholstery shop? I've done a search of the archives but haven't...
Wow.. $610 msrp on a head gasket.. Just curious as to what type material the new gaskets are made of compared to the old gaskets? are they metal reinforced? Any clue why it is so much? (other than the fact it is a viper item)? or is this one of those items where dealers have significant room for...
Hi list,
I was hoping for some input from those of you who have either painted your dash or have used the insert/overlays. The painted ones are quite nice looking but how do they hold up as far as scratching/ normal wear and tear? I would think around the shifter area you might have scratching...
Gotta say, while i hear a few people griping about the new board layout, I definitely like it better than the old format! the grey/white features are nice and I also like how when you select a thread it automatically goes to the new posts rather than having to scroll through. Keep up the good...
Re: 18\" OEM Wheels
people do that often.. someone emails em, makes em an offer and the person who listed it will pull the auction and sell it privately.. pretty sucky but that is what probably just happened to you.

I think you should consider ANY viper is a rebuilt wreck...
