Not to chime in on your post but I was thinking about manifolds the other day and chrome replacements. I was told that they are not good because the chrome manifolds retain a lot more heat then the stock manifolds. Is...
Nope.............it is double clutching and he does primarily on the down shifting and swears by it. I have been in his car while he's driving and let me tell you it really is a much smoother ride. Then again he's a little older and he probably grew up with the double clutching technique. This...
First of all happy holidays. Health ,happiness, peace and safe driving for the New Year. :2tu: :2tu:
I was just curious if anyone double-clutches when driving, not necessarily on the track, just regular driving. I was not sure if our Vipers had synchronizers hence the need for...
Concur with the above but if you are still looking at a "BATTERY TENDER ", here's some additional information and example.

Its a question of mathematics really really .
Low production = higher resale value and maybe I am wrong, but there seems to be a growing number of Viper next generation enthusiats and potentially new Viper owners.
Its seems to really be growing exponentially. Is anyone else seeing this...
I'm not suprised since low production numbers will often mean better residual value. 2004 cars are selling now for about the same price that I paid when I purchased my car.
Then again this article says Vettes will hold there value the best and I find that VERY hard to believe...
Just wanted to aske one final question. Did anyone of you guys who installed after market headers change the spark plug wires to higher heat resistant wires.
I believe MAGNECOR makes the best brand.
Thanks
Patrick
Thanks for all the great responses. Seems to meet the floor is divided between Bellanger and B&B if one decides to go with headers.
Sound/ ease of installation/ and protection of the engine components are vital concerns to me. All else is secondary.
While I was doing my search on...
Is DC Performance the only ones that produce after market shields for the Vipers or are they the best for the buck?
Since we seem to lack in a lot of performance mods, I don't know if anyone in Canada coats the shields (sorry I meant headers ) like you guys recommend in the US. I would have...
Thanks for the help and responses.
I thought I had it all figured out and now a cunundrom. :buttkick:
I'll need to do additional research, however, whichever headers I choose I have three options on the issue of heat shielding.
Remove the stock shield completely.
Install DC Performance...
Yes...........I thought as much. If you PM me with the details I will try my best to help in a resolution. Could also be a water problem. Condensation=water somewhere.

I've decided to go a head and order the bellanger headers, high flow cats and exhaust system. I great sounding product with amazing HP gains.
The only concern I had, which delayed my decision, was the issue of heat off the newly installed headers. I read some earlier and archived posts that...
Just wondering how easy the install is? According to the advertisement, you will need either a boom or forklift for the install. Also do you think they will ship to Canada?
Thanks
Patrick
Bunch of wankers...............is wankers a word???
Anyway, I refuse to submit to those so called car experts who sit in the car for a day drive around a track and then feel qualified enough to pass judgement on a vehicle.
Problem is people actually read that crap!
Viper is one the most under produced sports car to this day and that's what makes it so special and elite.
Yeah I think DC got it right. Lets just hope they don't change and go the way of Porsche and Vette.

I would not worry about flat spots on the tires if you inflate the tire to 40PSI or greater like the other members have pointed out. I would also roll the car forward and back to different locations on the tire at least once a month.
I have my car on 1/2 inch plywood and 1/4 high compression...
Yeah but how are they going to get the plutonium to supply the flux capacitors. Maybe they should just "make like a tree" and shut the whole thing down.............................. :2tu: :headbang:
If you do a search I am certain you will find the answers you are looking for Bob........search under Mopar Exhaust.
There are two types of exhaust if my memory serves me correctly. One is the street exhaust while the other is the race exhaust. Only the race exhaust removes the cats. The...
