Yeah thats it...............
Thanks Ricky............anything for the back. I would suspect they would not be needed for any kind of protection but strictly for looks.
Thanks again.

I saw a black mamba the other day and he had want seemed to be grill inserts in the front fascia as well on the back end above the diffusers. Are these standard for the mambas . Does anyone have these?
They looked amazing on the car. :2tu:
Cheers

My seats are in the process of getting re-upholstered and I am thinking of getting the Viper logo embedded ( stitched in red ) into the seat head rest.
Any ideas on where I can get the logo that fits within the space of the head rest since the upholster needs something . Do you think it will...
And the addiction just keeps on getting worse. When I first got my car , my spouse asked me to go out and get a carton of milk. It was around 7pm , I got back at 2 in the morning............ :2tu:
Hope this helps.

On a side note:
the black mamba had an interesting red mesh design within the openings of the front spoiler and the openings of the back end.
Does anyone have this mesh on their car........looked really cool!!!!!!!!! I would like to see if I can buy some of these inserts if they exist.

Thanks for the response but I had a thought.
Why not cut the wire to the old hood pad and join it to the wire cut from the new hood pad. Will this cause ground interference? Seems like an easier way to go.

Sorry Brian, my mistake typo error. It was a 996 Twin Turbo and they are in abundance in our local auto trader. Can't believe its so hard to get a 997 Twin Turbo. Maybe Porsche is smarting up and going back to the goood'ol days when low production was the way to go and gave value to their cars...
There's an exotic car rental shop near my office and this guys has everything from Lambo's to Ferrari's etc...... Well , I guess he was storing the cars for the winter because while I was downstairs picking up a coffee, he happen to park three of his exotics at the front of my door. A Porsche...
I see art so you are leaving the existing wiring and disconnecting from the hood pad as opposed from the bolts attached under the wiper assembly. I hope I can find the tool you are talking about.............I will try home depot today.
Thanks
Patrick
Well worth it, best Mod I ever did to the car........well worth the money. As for invisibility, you will always see the lines but you really need to pay attention to it.

I purchased a painted hood pad and I am at the point where I have my hood pad off but there seems to be , what looks like ground wire, attached to bolts under the wiper console.
My question is what are these wires for?
How do I get the hood pad off? Do I need to remove the wipers first and...
I keep hearing that its much louder as well. How much louder could it possibly be? Would very much like to hear an installed system next to the corsa.

I was wondering about the same thing prior to ordering one.......my shift knob is about 2 months old and I don;t think the design has changed. Keep us informed of the outcome.

If you pick up the latest car and driver magazine they have an excellent article comparing 11 tires. The comparison is based on dry performance, wet performance, price and finally tread wear.
The result were as follows from 1st to last :
Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3
Continental Contisportcontact...
I just wanted to find out how your Viper purchase has been so far and how many miles you have on your vehicle. I posted this poll on another forum and the results showed the 68% of all purchases would result in some form of minor, major to severe mechanical repairs prior to 10000 miles. I sold...
I don't think you will get away from not using water totally. I tried what you mentioned myself and noticed that there will always be dirt on the car. I get much better results with water.
How do you remove the break dust that finds its way on the back body paint?
I usually wash the car with...
Bottom line no way to get in......
I did the same thing and I now I have the key on a long chain which I wrap around my neck when I leave the car. The guys at VCO laughed their heads off when this happened to me...........

Hmmmmmmmm..............interesting does anyone know at what point the seals begin to dry out? I guess it also depends on where you store the car as well. I did all the above and went a little further by insulating the floor and applying a vapour barrier and placing the car on plywood. Also I...
Did another search and I got some information on the console.
Now.............does the hurst short shofter knob remove by turning it carefully counter clockwise with a plumbers wrench? I tried to turn it by hand without any success. Its on there pretty tight!!!!
