I feel your pain. I had rod/piston #2 come through the block on my supercharged Ram while getting a checkup on the dyno from a certain dealership earlier this year. The dealership (different one) that sold me the truck didnt mention it was running nitrous/propane of an unknown amount before the...
Dans computer upgrade/flash took a full second (even a bit more) off my 1/4 mile times with my supecharged SRT Ram at a track elevation of 5800 feet (density altitude over 8000 feet). Talk about performance improvement per dollar...that was it!!
I can sell ya one fully modded with a Paxton, headers, Corsa exhaust, upgraded Diamond pistons, upgraded Viper flywheel/clutch and more for quite the nice price. In fact, this truck outperformed a supercharged NSX this past weekend roadracing at the Hastings Motorsports Park...both on the...
When I did the clay bar on my Viper it had very limited mileage on it. I thought it wouldnt need it since it was hardly driven and always in the garage. WRONG. The clay bar makes a huge difference.
Kevins a great guy...bought my replacement V10 for my SRT Ram from him (off his '03 Viper) at good price. Good to hear things finally went they should have from the start.
Like mentioned above, use Dawn to wash the car first.
Use a spray bottle with a cap full of soap and spray small sections at a time. Lightly go over the area thats been sprayed with the clay bar. No need to rub or push hard...just kind of skim over the surface. Dont go in circular motions...
Re: Thank you
I think I have a few corvettes, Corvette Z06's, a Porsche 996, Miata, etc in my group (HPDE group 3) as well as a dozen others. Weather is gonna be great (wish it were for are car show last saturday) and I cant wait to unleash the supercharged Ram on the track!!
I can no longer endorse 2 of the dealers (bought several new and one used vehicle from one of them) mentioned in this thread. After buying a used SRT vehicle from one of the dealers listed in this thread the motor blew on the dyno while in the hands of another dealer who was checking the truck...
Thank you \"MR.B\"
Thank you for driving from Sidney, NE to Goodland, KS for our 20th annual car show. Jim and his family DROVE a 2000 (or 2001) RT/10 3 hours in 39 degree weather with rain as well as an SRT Ram. Jim also trailered down his '06 Coupe.
Jims cars were a great addition to the...
As far as emotion, my palms always got sweaty anytime I took the car out. My son (4 at the time) would quench (sp) his fists anytime we took the car out for a quick spin around town (Lakewood area). The car is simply awesome.
Hey Dan, where in Denver are you? I had an '01 GTS (first year ABS) for awhile and did some dyno events and stuff of the sort with the Colorado/Utah chapter of the VCA. There a great bunch of guys who get together quite a bit.
I was pretty nervous when I first roadraced my GTS...hoping the back...
I believe the dyno software uses barometric pressure as one of its parameters as well as temperature and humidity. This is whats needed to adjust the numbers to sea level which makes a level playing field (of sorts) when comparing numbers against other numbers (dyno's being equal which we know...
If I lived anywhere remotely close to DC Performance I'd be there...probably more time then not. Heck, I'm not close and have spent several pretty pennies with Dan. Customer support very good for the numerous questions I had with some subtle upgrades. Nothing but good things to say.
