    Mine (new)look like that too- so do my SRT8 polished wheels.... I agree the factory could have done a better job polishing before the clear...

    Gents, have oil changes sheduled for both my silver bullets tomorrow early. I want to pick up the oil on the way home (no manual handy), just want to double check, that the '05 Viper is Mobil 1's 0W-40? Does anyone know if the SRT8s use the same?

    Re: What\'s is going at the Connor Assembly plant ?! For me that is soooo true, it was my '68 side piped vert that I sold to buy my '05 Mamba. Performance aside for just one second and focusing only on the looks, I personally think the SRT is one of the BEST looking cars ever made.

    I had my Viper titled and inspected in MD a Month or so ago, and took the car to Fitzgerald in Frederick. I have never been treated so well in my life, like a king there, these people were first class, such incredible customer service, everyone from the clerk to the service writer to the payment...

    Sorry about your troubles- I am curious though how the service folks handle this extended repair thing- does your car have to sit at the dealer for 3 weeks? I would worry about it getting shuffled aro and mishandled, or do they tow it back home for you until the part comes in?

    I think it was the SRT Forum, they had pictures of the Fcar 599GTB side by side with a '90s Supra, the two cars looked almost identical aside from some flashy accents from Ferrari.... you would laugh hard if you saw how close they are. Talk about a rip-off. My point is that this is rather blah...

    I agree, keep moving it forward- the Astons however, lack that in-your-face attitude that sets the Viper so far apart from the pretty Euros.. update the lights/hood and def the wheels(offer options instead of the polished wheels)
