For all of you East coasters who have your car stored for the winter, please ignore this post.
I was driving my new SRT-10 back today from Victorvile, CA in 75 degree weather and with the A/C on max, I noticed that the SRT-10 would cool the car, but it certainly wasn't cold. Yes, Andy the top...
Re: Are there any 2003 SRT-10\'s in California yet?
The first real (my name on the sticker!) California SRT-10 order has been received! Picked it up today in Victorville on the way home from Mammoth. Woodhouse and Mr. Pemberton are god! All of you who ordered elsewhere . .. a small wait is in...
Re: Are there any 2003 SRT-10\'s in California yet?
News on California SRT-10 to be posted tomorrow (Friday, 2/21). Interrupting my ski trip to Mammoth to investigate San Diego sighting . . . .
Get the Cytech, Double Park DP7. I have had mine for 5 years without a problem. You need the long aluminum ramps (36" I believe). Aluminum is way lighter than the steel ramps I bought.
Beware of Lift Collapse:
Watch out for Perfect Park 7000 from Gemini Auto Lifts or Lifts Unlimited. Attached...
I just received the a nice gift from D-C:
A book titled: "Dodge Vipe SRT-10: The Official Story". It looks like they are sending it out gratis to all who ordered a SRT-10. It covers the Viper history from the 1989 auto show, including racing successes, and the evolution of the car up to the...
Believe me, I want my SRT-10 desperately, but in two months no one will remember or care whether I was 1st, 5th or 25th in California. My worst fear is that I am on vacation when my car arrives and I have to ask Andy to watch it for me until I get back. He'd undoubtedly will be the first to...
I've had a VIN# since Jan 7. # V500668 I think (the actual # is at my office). In D1 status, too! I passed on the first CA black SRT-10 as I want Red and I am willing to wait for it. Woodhouse, of course.

Those of you who were at VOI 5 in Las Vegas in 1999 remember the GTS coupe above the slot machines. I saw the SRT-10 yesterday above the same slots. The car looked new, unused & perfect. I wish I could have looked inside to see the VIN # & mileage, but security & cameras would have made that...
My 97 RT/10 came from an out of state dealer and despite assurances of a California certification, it had none. When I couldn't register it and as the dealer already had my cash, he simply ordered a sticker from D-C and sent it to me. I put it on, and guess what? The emissions on my car suddenly...
For California residents, if you buy a car out of state, to avoid sales tax, it must be kept out of California for 90 days after purchase and it must have 7500 miles on it before you register it. Unless you put all of these miles on at the racetrack, you'd have to register the car in another...
Where the hell is Michigan, Kentucky and Georgia anyway? Are they part of East Texas? Those '03 cars are going straight into the garage for the winter. By spring the California cars will have 3K miles on 'em, way before those who live East of I-5 ever get their cars broken in.
These early...
Re: Don\'t Hold Your Breath! They\'re NOT Coming Out Any Time Soon?
No more whining! Or is that pretentious anticipation?
If you can't wait --- go buy a Z06 or a Porsche. Who cares? There are people lined up waiting for your $1,500 over invoice, smoke everything in site (don't forget the...
Re: Don\'t Hold Your Breath! They\'re NOT Coming Out Any Time Soon?
Figure your car will come out in March, and if it comes earlier consider yourself lucky. We've waited this long for the new SRT-10, we might as well wait a little longer so they can get it right. The German quality influence at...
Re: California SRT\'s ?? Anyone with a VIN yet?
Bill Pemberton said that my cert was the second he received (Sure!!). Still on BX status, although 15+ D1 status cars are ahead of mine at Woodhouse. Looking for mine in 1Q 2003. The car will be worth the wait, but listening to Andy ***** and lie...
I guess I am one of the silent few who also likes the new SRT-10. I have been on a waiting list for two years and when the voucher program was announced, I was fortunate to get mine in VERY EARLY at the largest Viper dealer. Tell me it doesn't matter and let's compare notes late in the year when...
I bought a Cytech Doublepark 4 years ago. It works great and I moved it to my new house without a problem. As a data point, at least the Cytech Doublepark is good 4 years down the road! Get longer ramps (for more ground clearance), 36" I believe, and aluminum ramps are a hell of a lot lighter...

We don't need a local club in San Diego. Create an event: lunch, dinner, whatever and let Doug Dye know so that he can coordinate with the calendar. The most important thing is to just do it.
There are plenty of cars here, we just need to get the word out.
Hope to see you soon...
Dr. Dave was not only my friend, our friend, but an enthusiast for over 40 years. He owned a real 427 AC Cobra in the 60s that he subsequently sold to the Edsel Ford museum. Among the twenty plus cars his family has, he had a black '93 RT/10, a Panoz AIV roadster, a 1966 Shelby GT350 and a...
Re: Blue/White (WISEASP) \'97 RT/10 in San Diego....owner?
I must confess that I am the culprit. The '97 Blue/White RT/10 (One of 53) with WISEASP plate in mine. Even though Dodge only made 50 of these, there is another one within two blocks from my office! I don't know the owner, but he left...
