It is obvious you have an itch for a GTS so I say go for it. I am still looking for "all the mods." It looks like you just have a full exhaust and gears. I am not sure I would consider a working head gasket or fluid changes mods. I would actually consider your car barely modded and I am sure...
Good to have you back! :headbang: The new facilities looks amazing and the track is unbelievable. I could have my car perfectly tuned in 1 hour if I could make runs up and down that track. I am not sure it gets any better than that. :2tu:
I never understood why people are so in love with the ACR wheels. IMHO they are awful looking and I would not even want them displayed in my garage. With that said, if you are worried about the change, keep the stocks so you can go back in the future.
You make some good points and believe every Viper owner has the same dilemma. I am not against what JD is saying or attaching him in anyway. I would like the streets safer and without A-holes doing 150mph fly bys when I driving to dinner with my wife. However, I am not sure many people on...
I do not think the people on this forum are defending street racing and I know I am not promoting it. I also agree that it is stupid for a tuner to post a video like this as it clearly against the law.
What made me post, was the fact that you are coming down on a single high way pull very hard...
JD, so what you are saying is you have never made a pull on the highway to speeds greater than 65mph? Obviously, there is no way to logically argue for street racing as it is against the law an potentially dangerous... But with that said, step down from the high horse.
I believe that is the same photoshop from many years ago when the SRT concept first came out. It was suppose to depict a mid-engine Viper, which not too many people were crazy about.
I could not disagree more. People go crazy over the B/W and I have never heard 1 comment about it being last year’s model. Actually at car shows I have been asked by 3 different people at 3 different shows, if they still make Vipers (IE not even knowing what the SRT10 is). I would guess that...
You have got to be kidding me. Non Viper people never guess that my car is 10 years old. I really hope you did not buy your car to impress people with it's newness.
You are under the impression that Gen 2 owners just have them because they can not afford Gen 3's. Wrong...
I don't know if I would call [******]. I am sure each of the 5 people really thought the throttle stuck. If it did or didn't is another story.
I saw one instance when his line came off but I am not sure it was a fault of the line. Most of the fittings in the kit are slip fit fittings with metal barbs that hold the line in place. I am personally not a huge fan of those fittings but that is not where I saw D's fail. His fell of at the...
If you look at the intake manifold design you will see that it would be pretty hard to fit an intercooler in there without causing a major restriction. The W/M works well as a liquid intercooler.
I understand why it is doing it and do not have a problem with it. However, I am curious as to the HP difference from running a 12.0 AF versus a 11.0 AF on a 600 rwhp car. Obviously no one will have the exact answer but I am curious as to whether I am loosing 10rwhp or 40rwhp running the car a...
I did some logging yesterday with my dual wide bands and what I found was a little surprising. I have a 10psi pulley and WM injection.
The first log the car and SCer were very cool, 180 degrees and I had not gotten into boost prior to the pull. The AF showed ~ 11.6 from 3500-5500. I then...
I started with Rich's 3" shaft and the stock shifter and it worked great. I then added the first strike knob now it is too short. I want to order a longer shaft from Rich but can not reach him.
Has anyone reached Rich in the last year? I want another $25 shifter shaft.
None of the mods you have give huge HP on an otherwise stock car. Now that you have all the bolt ons it is time to purchase a ROE SCer. With your mods it should give you high 500's which is a 200rwhp increase.
This is getting painful to read. I hope that Wendy Macedo does not know the whole story and simply sent that email to you as a standard response. Either way, it looks like you should send your car to FL on Larry's dime as he is willing to pay the shipping. I think you might have to write off...
I would vote to not throw any more money at the car; I think you have spent more than enough as it is. Tuning is what you need and if Larry does not feel comfortable doing it you should go with Joe. I am sure Joe can tune it for a few hundred bucks versus $4k+ for the AEM. Personally I would...
