I put mine as shown above per NARRA requirements for TT1. 4 lb. bottle I believe. I did a google search way back, and found a site that has them like Roe but has more color options inc. the bracket color. It uses the factory seat bolts and takes just a few minutes to install. Mounts either on...
Well done Tony and Andy for taking the time to share this. The results are what I expected and should be considering the HP increase and other benefits for the Gen V. A win is a win and both are great looking cars. Stock for stock too. That is the way to compare. Well done.
The filters will last forever but a good cleaning might be in order. KN has a spray cleaner after you remove the filters of course. Simply spray on, rinse well with a hose, then let dry. Apply the KN oil VERY lightly just to cover the filter area on the outside only. I prefer the spray oil over...
I sure hope the SoCal clubs dealer gets this right for you. Keep us posted and you really do have a lot of patience on this matter. Thanks for posting and SRT should be all over this to help you out.
A good question, and the reason I personally have low miles on my current ACR is that I find it almost boring to drive on the streets compared to the adrenaline and performance experience you get with it on the track. After a competition weekend driving anywhere else is just too slow.
Hopefully this will stay on subject for at least one page and Im sure the word "marketing" will come up a lot, but why is the Corvette used most of the time to pace pro races rather than other makes inc. the Viper? Yes, Mercedes for F1 but I can only remember the blue and white striped 1996...
Re: " The new Viper is exotic and curvy, but the glory days are gone at least by sale
Well said and I agree on all of this especially the 2010 ACR which is probably the best Viper yet along with the 2002 GTS final edition. You saw very few complaints on these two models. Now when will this...
Hey GUSTFRONT Im right down the road from you in Spring. If you need any help, get in touch with me. Also the Houston club is very active with a bunch of great Viper enthusiasts. Im also considering selling my 09 yellow/black ACR with only 2100 miles in pristine shape.
GC, good post and well written too. The Viper has an extensive history in ALMS and has been allowed to enter given the V10 (yes 8.0L) albeit with a large restriction to lower the HP (approx. 500) so the GT field can be an equal. It was formerly GTO, then GTS and now GT. IMSA approved it this...
This topic has been on here numerous times over the years and the only way to go is with a Deltran Battery Tender. NO trickle charger please. And the best price is on Amazon with free shipping too. I have several of them for the car and boat, and they last forever. Your post did not actually...
Rated R I like your Dodge stable in your post but having a 2011 GT3 Porsche is really awesome and a great car. Think twice before getting rid of that one if that is your plan.
Saw this posted on Face Book too. I figured he would jump on this program and we already have our RV spot reserved for next years 24 at Daytona. Seeing these cars plus the new combined series should be an awesome event.
Really close finish and great SRT coverage finally. Milner is just an incredible driver for Corvette. Would be nice to have him and Beretta back from Ferrari.
These are the ones I have for my Gen 4. Solid CF without the Viper letters though. They look and fit great. Just cannot remember where I got them from 2 years ago.
