When I sold my boat I owed about $100,000 on it. Buyer's lending institution made the payoff check out to both me AND the bank. Check was sent directly to the bank that held my loan. Because the check was made out to both of us, the bank couldn't do anything with the check without me being...
I get the click about 25% of the time when taking off from a dead stop. Never when turning. Mine is not from the ebrake. I've drove for weeks with the ebrakes completely off the car while I was painting them. Still got the click. I have the Mopar posi track additive also.
I'm not too...
Putting them back on is harder than taking them off. If possible, try and have a friend around when it's time to put them back on. I did it by myself but it's not ideal that way.
Without a doubt, under the side sill. I had my sills repainted 2 years ago and put clear bra on the underside after painting.
Unlike the underside of the sills, I think most of the other stuff depends on the owner and how the car is used. For example, even though my car has 24,000 on it...
I removed some from my side sills after having it there for 2 years. Did not pull any paint but you'll need some high-powered adhesive remover to remove the adhesive that's left behind. I used denatured alcohol solvent.
I'm in town but the only thing Solomons Island is good for on the weekend is the incredible view of the bumper of the car in front of you.
Wasn't always like that but it is now. :(
According to CalChrome, black chrome is just a spray-on substance that's put on top of regular chrome. They tell you that great care is needed with black chrome or else you'll put scratches in the surface. Sounds worse than dealing with clear coat. No thanks for me.
Won't have to cut down the stock studs if using 10 spoke wheels. They were cast with little pockets to accept the excess stud. They must have been cast with spacers in mind. The pockets can be seen in this picture.
I've noticed that in certain light conditions, my doors look a different shade of yellow than the rest of the car. I've ruled out a repair that was done before I bought the car since both doors are the same way.
Took me a couple years to notice. Perhaps the door panels are made out of a...
I read the same thing about plastic polish and a power ball so I tried it. Did nothing. You can try it but you'll be wasting your time.
I got fed up with the wheen haze so I just chome plated them.
Do it. My regret is that I didn't do it 4 years ago when I bought my car.
Folks have been running around on chrome wheels for 50 years. I think we'd know by now if chrome wheels were a bad idea.
Besides, it only cost about $800 and it's not like you're ruining museum pieces. If it...
