I don't drive my vehicle in the rain either, however, I do wash it. I would be VERY concerned about water getting inside my engine compartment directly on the motor. This is why I would leave the vents in the middle sealed. I do like the hood...wonder how it would look like on a silver car.
Grrr...Im having a TOUGH time deciding which wheels I want to go with. It's either the CCW 505A, SP500's....stock SRT coupe sidewinder wheels, or i-forged H.ennessey wheels...oh why the hard hard decisions. Would you rather go with a 1 piece or 3 piece wheel, and why?
Either way, for someone who will want to end up doing mods anyways, would want to stay away from 05, or 06 models. The fact that they went with the cheaper and less durable rods made me shy away from such a decision. I like the fact that the 04's retained the stronger connecting rods...makes...
Hey guys.
Im picking up a set of some brand new Side Winder wheels, the ones for the coupe in full polish. I was wondering...I wanted to go with the Pirelli 355 series for the rears. I know they have a smaller sidewall and all, but, how will this affect the performance and the ride? Also...
For a car that is supposedly going to come out in 2007, I'm not very surprised that they don't want to let the cat out of the bag just yet. Im hanging on to my SRT 10 for a good while until they decide to up the HP a newer version. Regardless, I am dissapointed with the looks of the new...
As with any suspension install, you have to give the new components a little while to "settle in" and in time, it will lower a little bit more. Drive it around a bit..and if you're not satisfied, simply adjust it a bit more and lower that sucker!
Well fellas, I have decided to save myself 400 bucks and do the install with my mechanic tomorrow afternoon. However, I bought a pair of 02 simulators from Roe Racings (which comes with the exhaust system) so that I could avoid any potential check engine lights. Ok...what I need to know...
Re: MOPAR PERFORMANCE Exhaust Prices UPDATE
Nice! What do you mean by "dialed in the turnouts"? I am going to be installing this system soon, without the mopar ecu..instead I will use 02 simulators...since I will be doing a paxton soon anyways...I will be running catless without a tune for...
Daniel, How about the Mopar Race Exhaust? I think I might try to tackle the job with my mechanic tomorrow on my lift. I really don't feel like letting someone else molest my car for 4 hours and charging me 400 bucks to install an exhaust. A blower is something completely different that id...
OK. If you really would like that extra 50+ hp it's as simple as purchasing the mopar parts! List price for Race exhaust, 849.00, cam 400.00, mopar computer 400.00, K&N about 275.00. Im sure you can drop the list price on those parts if you know a few people. All of this stuff totals close...
And to think...all they need to add from the factory would be a nice little blower to bump up the HP to 600, which is mild at best. They also should use a Quaife rear end, which does not cost much more than the POS stock rear end on our cars. I'm sure people would pay an extra 7 grand or so for...
Re: MOPAR PERFORMANCE Exhaust Prices UPDATE
I would definitely remove the crossover...unless you LOVE heat! A lot of us want to remove the stock exhaust down here in Texas because the cabin heat is not tolerable! I don't see why on earth you would want to keep the crossover..plus it is...
Re: Where or how to obtain \"smoked\" or darkened tail light assemblies?
Awesome brother! thanks for the link. I saw shanks silver SRT TT, and it looks KILLER with the tail lights "smoked"...it wouldn't look good on red...only on silver and black.
Where or how to obtain \"smoked\" or darkened tail light assemblies?
I was looking at a picture at dodgevipersforsale and saw a 2003 silver srt10 with "smoked" tail lights. I also know there is a member that goes by "allblack" who has the smoked out tail lights. I like the look of these, but...
