    Thanks for all the suggestions everyone. wheels are new michelins with only about 5,000 miles on them. hop is only happening at launch. hop seems worse with more traction.

    This is a great product. fits perfect and gives the console that "solid" feel it is missing. I bought one after an over exhuberant date started a small crack in my console that thankfully didn't bust through the top layer . It firmed up the plastic and now you can't even tell she damaged it...

    Well after 72,000 hard miles I have my first real issue. driving home and clutch pedal didn't seem right and it was engaging really hard and quick. pulling into the driveway clutch pedal stayed on the floor and wouldn't pop back up. had to switch the key off and glide into the driveway...

    So what is the situation if you come from a state that doesn't require front plates, like Florida? am I setting myself up for a cop to pull me over? I have made numerous long trips up to the northeast, passing through just about every eastern state with no issues, guess I was just lucky...
