I was going to go to that show tomorrow, but have changed my mind now. I can't believe they don't have a viper there. That is a disgrace to Dodge. It's one of the biggest car shows in the country and they don't have their prized vehicle there, not to mention that it's a new model year??? I...
Re: More axed rummors for the Viper
While it will add to the value of ours if they stop making it, I would still be sad to see the end. I think if they do stop, I will have ot pack mine away and buy a Z06 to beat up on.
:rolaugh:
You should read and follow this board more before typing a post like that. I have a feeling you are not going ot get many positive repsonses. Honestly, just a dumb post.
Good post indeed. Many die-hards on here forget that the car companies are out to make a profit. If a product, whether it's a viper or roll of toilet paper is not profitable, then it must be discontinued or revised. I have no problem seeing vipers with automatics if thats what it takes to...
Congrats! I also bought mine from Roanoke last year in Feb. and it was also delivered in a snow storm. Our similiarities continue since for the first few months I also felt as though it might be missing from the garage and was constantly checking on it. :D
There is another guy on this forum who owns an '06 SC and a c6Z06. After speaking with him, he said the viper has trouble beating the stock z06 in the 1/4 mile due to traction. Sure, after the car gets going it locks up and pulls past the z06 easliy. But he did tell me that the z06 will jump...
I have been seriuosly considering the paxton on my '06 coupe. The part holding me back is; where and how often am I actually going ot be able to use the power? I barely get the chance to use the power I have now. I haven't been to the track yet, even though I want to, and the roads around...
Same here. I cancelled my subscription last year since I got tired of reading about which 4 cylinder sedan was the best bang for the buck. The only interesting part of the magazine every month wer the letters to the editor where people would complain. Everytime they do an article on high...
I agree 100%. I run my own business and I have had to dig into my pockets to compensate for a mistake that one of my employees or myself have made and almost always the customer never even knows. It's not "good business" to me....it's business.
You just answered your own question. Buy the car and tell her with excitement when it arrives. If you're the one makig all the money and she is that spoiled, do you really think she would leave you over it? HELL NO! She knows where her bread is buttered. She may be mad for a week or so, but...
As if the entire delay of production of this car wasn't bad enough, now it's the deliveries that we are told will be here one day and are repeatedly delayed. Is this the new Dodge.:dunno:
Anyway, I hope one day I see these cars.:rolaugh:
