GR8_ASP, you've been around here along time as well but not too sure shopping center parking lots littered with cones count? ;)
Maybe it was 6 smokey burnouts that caused the short tire life. lol
Nothing else like a Viper.:2tu:
PS: ... heading back to topic; DLM is one of a select few.:)
Consider that 6 [hot] laps per set of tires is certainly not the norm for almost any imaginible track event. Being a member of Harris Hill Road's 1.8mi road course Harris Hill Road, among others, a tight (Viper;) lol) roadcourse... never experienced anything like what is "claimed." I"d suggest...
Congrats on the date and new job in HI. Since their speed limit doesn't exceed 50mph you may have to get some 4.11's for the ole Viper to keep things interesting. lol
Anyway, HI a kewl looking place with awesome weather - post some pics when you get settled and enjoy the Pacific surf...
MGW has done something similar but with a modified machined bezel to compliment the 'shorty'. Check it out. Viper SRT Shifter Bezel. No need for skinned knuckles, etc...
"Looking for a fair price to offer. Deciding between a New '08 Z06 at $66,000 or this moded '06 Viper - I can't justify mid-$80's for the '08 vipers - will wait to buy used on the '08's down the road
Have owned 3 vipers previously. This will be mostly a weekend car and part-time drag strip car...
Dave ... was thinking that the clearcoat would set the colors and give things a more finished look. I used flat on the black and red parts of the logo and chose not to paint the entire pad. Although I'm quite pleased overall it's sure tough to do an abosolutely perfect paint job on the pad...
Just got around to painting my hood pad and what a difference it makes.
Time permitting tomorrow and I'll get this puppy installed.
Here's a pic before the matte clear coat is applied.
