Frankly with a 96-97 GTS stock would increase the value ,and custom is probably a negative for the majority of buyers. This is due to the preponderance of the B/W being considered by many one of the best long term collectible Vipers out there.- Bill Pemberton Woodhouse

Listen to Steve-Indy as many folks who recently purchased Vipers are finding out later how many things need to be checked or replaced -- and parts are getting expensive. Targa is not being done anymore by Prefix ( issues on cost and the supplier ) and only a very, very few were done. If you really want to go topless , get a Gen IV and save yourself some grief , and expense , imho. Otherwise the Gen Vs are out there and you may find a roof and killer A/C may... -

Where are you located. With a 2002 you won't have the classic V8 sound, but who cares you will have the classic V10 Viper sound. Pennsylvania Pre Buy Inspection
Make sure you get it on a lift as highly likely you will have oil lines to the oil cooler seeping, and double check the window regulators. Frankly , some of these folks who do a pre buy check never get the car in the air --that is a key in my book.- Bill Pemberton Woodhouse
