Tires are completely worthless , so the sale is essentially for the rims only. Good luck on the sale, though I would keep in mind that buyers will primarily be owners of Gen 1 and Gen IIs and due to the ability to pick up later Generation rims for less, your sale may be somewhat limited...
Frankly with a 96-97 GTS stock would increase the value ,and custom is probably a negative for the majority of buyers. This is due to the preponderance of the B/W being considered by many one of the best long term collectible Vipers out there.
Listen to Steve-Indy as many folks who recently purchased Vipers are finding out later how many things need to be checked or replaced -- and parts are getting expensive. Tires are a major concern, but so are fluids ( folks go by the excuse that they are not driven much , hence it is not...
Would depend on the buyer, and frankly at this point more are looking for stock than custom. If you are enjoying it , as it seems nicely done, that is really all that matters.
Nice custom build and the only issue one has with pricing Vipers like this is not remembering what a clean later model may go for. Example:
Had a customer who wanted 85K for his Gen IV, and explained it would be pretty tough to pull that kind of funds when there are quite a few interesting and...
This story is likely wrong in various areas. The first is that I heard via the Grapevine that Ray was looking for a Viper in 2003 , and after some interesting detective work on our part we tracked him down and I happened to sell him a black SRT-10. He did not get the car from Dodge, nor did he...
Our customers have not received their Vooodoo II covers either, but it also appears they are just now completing building those cars ,so let's hope they all go out together. It is not just the Vooodoos, it appears to be a problem across the board with custom covers.
We got lucky , as they send...
Targa is not being done anymore by Prefix ( issues on cost and the supplier ) and only a very, very few were done. If you really want to go topless , get a Gen IV and save yourself some grief , and expense , imho. Otherwise the Gen Vs are out there and you may find a roof and killer A/C may...
Nice write up and always good to hear about Herb.......glad he is enjoying his retirement and he definitely has had a Gearhead's Dream Job and fully understand how he has not regrets. Selling these beauties since the late 90s I too have lived t dream, albeit in a slightly different manner, ha.
Where are you located. With a 2002 you won't have the classic V8 sound, but who cares you will have the classic V10 Viper sound. Regardless of the Generation one owns, many still prefer the sound of a Gen II rear exit exhaust system. Would recommend a Corsa over all the others, but if you are in...
Broom, just got in it's sibling --- Comp Blue TA 2.0 Option Group with Black GTS Stripes. Doesn't have the mystery lux interior of yours, just the regular TA Interior, but it is a hot looker also.
Great idea , Steve , and folks can call Mark Jorgensen at Woodhouse ( 1-800-889-1893) , since it is the one he designed that most folks are using --nothing needs to be drilled , etc.
My apologies , Jeff, but I rephrased my note , as it was intended to just be a comment, and not to sound like an accusation. Often we take things out of context on Forums , due to reading thread a different way, so wanted to correct it as I definitely enjoy and respect all the work you provide...
I think there will be a lot more than the numbers listed so far, partly due to the fact that we still have a lot of Vipers coming, and am sure that is also the case with the other large Dealers. Woodhouse still has over 30+ coming , with only 4 unsold. Many folks always forget , when figuring...
As previously mentioned, I would sure give Mark Jorgensen, Woodhouse Viper Service Mgr., a call , as not sure what you are attempting is actually workable.

Sorry guy, but I have a problem with a Enthusiast whose first post is to promote two headers we have frankly never heard of. Over the years there have been a ton of headers come out, and many do not perform that well , nor do the fit great. There is likely little R&D or heavy input into these...
Save yourself some time and call Luke Pavlik at the Tire Rack ( extention #4362 ). He has been helping Viper owners , specifically , since the 90s and he can give you your choices. There are a few , but he can counsel you on what will meet your need the best.

PS - he is a...
Make sure you get it on a lift as highly likely you will have oil lines to the oil cooler seeping, and double check the window regulators. Frankly , some of these folks who do a pre buy check never get the car in the air --that is a key in my book.
Yes, John, it is 2014 TA Orange .........needed to be to complete the package correctly ,as the marriage of the two Latest Viper track record holders at Laguna Seca.
Re: A Woodhouse Limited Model done by the folks at SRT/Dodge???????
Okay Mods, could you move this over to the Gen V section ---- I didn't have my bifocal on and apparently I could not contain my excitement and I put it in the wrong Section. Stop laughing , I am a bona fide AARP member besides...
Re: A Woodhouse Limited Model done by the folks at SRT/Dodge???????
Can you say a limited model ACR Extreme married to the Orange 2014 TA ---- two Laguna Seca Production car record holders, this baby has thoroughbred genes!!!
Only 10 , maybe all gone already, and beautifully done by those...
