It's probably those harmful silicone additives in the NXT that are doing this. To solve this problem, deposit all of your NXT in the nearest waste receptacle and use Zaino. I have waxed my black M3 numerous times with Zaino and never experienced such problems as this.
In my opinion, The GTS and RT/10 are far nicer looking than the SRT. When I was looking in late '03 I had a deposit down on a SRT and was all ready to order one. Driving home from work one of the exotic rental-car places just got a red one in. I stopped in and eagerly looked but was not...
WTF is this? The new "performance line" from Nu Finish?
Never before has the Viper Club of America witnessed such attempted deceit, guile, and chicanery. Led by the infamous demagogue "Newport Viper," these saboteurs have descended upon these forums like a ravenous scourge. One by one they...

Did you ever get the price of the wider lift? Also, is there any way I can get the group buy discount? I have an installer who can put in the lift, I just need a lift. Thanks in advance. :2tu:
I don't see how you come to this conclusion. Fact of the matter is, if your at the line with your car revving at 2500-3000 RPM's and are ready to release the clutch as soon as the light turns green, a heavier flywheel will give you more momentum and off the line inertia. It is just a matter of...
I don't believe you. Post the name of this miracle product that you "use." Billions of people throughout the world frequent this forum daily and read these posts. They can truly see that your veracity and verity is being questioned and is ultimately on the line. Now you can either tell us the...
Silicone additives are detrimental to the finish of your car.
Meguiars NXT contains silicone additives.
Therefore, Meguiars NXT is detrimental to the finish of your car.
Nice try, and furthermore, nice Zaino shine.
Zaino. There are some people on this forum that will try to tell you otherwise, but they are only interested in having the best shine for themselves. They will try to tell you to use other waxes in order to sabotage your finish. Fact of the matter is, if you go over to their garage, you will...
People say the best years on the dyno are usually the years that they have. ;) It is well-known that the red with white stripe paint scheme adds about 50 RWHP alone. :p
On a more serious note, I have heard people say that the "lumpy-cam" '99's produce the most power where as I believe I...
No problem. I believe it all balanced out. All GEN II's are rated at 450 HP and 490 lb/ft. torque at the flywheel. However, some people claim that some years show a little more HP on the dyno. Fact of the matter is it is much easier to mod your engine than install ABS. Nearly any tuner...
Let's put it this way. Forged pistons cost around $1100 to upgrade in '00 to '02 Vipers. ABS costs around $7000 to upgrade in pre '01 Vipers. What sucks now? ;) Cream-puff's can take up to around 650 HP. I was told this by Paxton when I inquired about supercharging my FE. Tbe Paxton kit will...
That's where aftermarket headers come into play. Add some Belangers and you'll have that deep sonorous sound without the drone of B&B's and Borla's. :headbang:
Yeah, I am totally stumbled myself. After I asked you about it I was pretty much set on using the stock heat shields. While doing a search about Magencor wires, more poser stuff to dress up my engine ;) , I came across some threads regarding heat shields. That's when the confusion came in. As...
I have looked into buying this for my GTS but decided not too due to the exorbitant price as well as the possibility to incur damage above the bra. On my GTS, there is a small rock chip right above where the Speedlingerie bra would end. That pretty much negates any reason to buy it. I have also...
Hey Dave! But will the stock shields damage the headers? I believe someone above stated that Belanger's instructions said not to use them since they will inflict damage upon the headers. Just wondering about this. Thanks!
Does your club member use the stock OEM spark plug wires? Just wondering if an aftermarket wire is needed to withstand the heat. :2tu:
Thanks for your replies so far guys/gals! I pretty much am just trying to figure out if the heat shields are mandatory. I don't want to damage my car or...
That's the price quote I was given from DC Performance in L.A. I thought it was a little high myself. Did you get your gears installed through your Viper tech? I think they may be a little cheaper.
It is around a 10-12 hour job and costs about $900.00 to install. That, along with the price of the 3.55 gears, which is around $600.00, gives you a grand total of around $1500.00.
