    SRT-10 K&N Filters ????

    I went down to my local parts dept. and ordered the rc5000's today. i looked at the k&n catalog and the rc5050 is bigger in oval diameter but actually shorter in length. the rc5000 is 5 7/8 long and the rc5050 is 5 1/2 long. the larger oval size probably will not help as i think it may be...

    no the material we use only comes in black. the additives to keep it from aging or failing due to oils uv rays, sweat etc are very dark by nature so black is the only color. sorry george

    actually with our knobs you should take the nut off so you can get the knob as low as pssible and also get as much thread in the knob as you can. regards george

    i just got the shanks back from the platers and installed our first strike composite race knob in the SRT10. as you can see it is basically the same popular knob as the gen 1 and 2 just with a longer shank and the new fangs inserts. a funny thing...on the gripper i really preferred the red logo...

    i would have to see how they fit in the wheels. we have made center caps for the purner wheels. i am sure it is something we can do also i believe apex makes center caps already. you may want to check with them. regards george

    JIM, the knob is shorter and does take some more effort to shift as there is no magic way to avoid it BUT the current setup is VERY sloppy and it still is easy as pie to shift. i have no problem getting into reverse and shifting is qui5te effortless even with a lower knob. and.... yes we have...

    i just got the gripper shift knobs back from the platers and installed one on our red srt10. the finish is a "pearl bright" chrome process done by our chrome platers. it is the same finish as the shifter bezel and factory knob. as you can see the knob needed to be about 1 1/2 inches longer than...
