    Flickering lights

Was at my dealer earlier this week and they had no TSB info either. The twist on-off 10-20 times temporary fix is working fine for me. I've got not electronics understanding but when I explained the idea to the Viper tech he explained to me something to the effect that the 10-20 twists works...

My red 2004 is on the way!

Think the cutoff is inside the center console, towards the front of it. But I'lll need to re-check to make sure.

My long wait is almost over - YEAH !!!

As soon as you see it, you'll forget about that yellow obsession you had! Congrats! P.S. '03 or '04?

    SRT Oil Capacity?

Dodge dealer did oil & filter change and charged me for 12 quarts. Viper tech said he used 11.5 quarts while my owners manual says it takes 10 quarts with new filter. Adding to the confusion, I believe that the service manual says the car takes 10.5 (or 11?) quarts. As my...

    New SRT-10

Maybe that $135k includes the newest dealer-installed Mopar parts catalog solution to the flickering headlight problems

As a backup to the 10-20 twists would be to enhance your night vision by eating more

    SRT-10 an Every Day Car?

Pretty funny comment on it being an every DAY car! Alternatives are night vision goggles or eating more carrots.

    SRT-10 an Every Day Car?

Welcome and here's the ashtray "fix" http://www.mgwltd.com/viper_cupholder_bezel_srt.html and keep that website handy as you might want one of their very nice, short, MGW shift knobs.

Straight from PVO! Headlight Flickering Details.

Started here after just a few hundred miles and, unfortunately, the flickering is happening more frequently. Will go try that 10-20 cycling on-off routine.

First time Zaino buyer needs your input

This is quite possibly the case since most folks who use Zaino products know that they go on much easier than most conventional wax-type products, produce great results, and last longer....all the while smelling mighty tasty too. :D Seriously, the Zaino multiple layer approach works well...

    Ordering 2004 SRT?

Had a great experience with Roanoke Motors owner John Gastman in Illinois, www.romocoinc.com First class, large Viper volume dealer as many would say for Woodhouse too. Was pleasantly surprised at great SRT-buying experience here in Miami at Potamkin-Rivera Dodge (technically in Hialeah)...

Bog between 1st and 2nd gear

Maybe DCX is working on a two-for-one fix: Get rid of the bog & fix the flickering headlights/dashlights all on one visit.

    Tips on closing the hood??

I never slam my hood but being too gentle doesn't usually work either. As pointed out above, slamming could be real bad if the alignment of the hood is off so much that the tip of the hood slams directly on a headlight (yes, the tip can break off). Anyway, I always check to make sure that...

Gee, I'd hate to start another drooling lovefest thread, but I'd suggest calling Bill P...isn't Woodhouse also a Ford dealer?

Who Has Best Price - Extended Warranty 2003 SRT-10

Count me in as very interested in any "group buy" prices. For those who haven't bought a Viper (or any Dodge) in the last few years, keep in mind the good news that since Dodge started including the free 7 yr/70,000 powertrain warranty, prices of the Chrysler extended warranty plans declined...

    Flickering lights

When mine flicker (actually its the headlights and the instrument panel lights too), it never seems to be caused by any bumps in the road: Even happened a couple of times today while at red lights. Wonder if there'll be a TSB on this one soon?

    Just ordered an 04' Viper!

Re: Just ordered an 04\' Viper! Here's hoping the stop payment worked. It's hard for them to be successful claiming they'd be stuck with a car that they couldn't even have ordered yet.

    Just ordered an 04' Viper!

Re: Just ordered an 04\' Viper! YES!! Though one local dealer here has a $35,000 add-on sticker on his showroom SRT. Looked at my records and noted that the Destination (delivery) charge on the window sticker was $800 on my SRT-10...and while I wasn't present when it came off the truck, last...

    Crazy Texas Heat

I've had no steering issues though while slowly maneuvering/parking the SRT, a few times I've had the a/c suddenly blow hot for about 5-10 seconds. A bit of a mystery. Haven't ever had that happen in my GTS. Overall though, the SRT's a/c seems a bit stronger & is certainly more flexible.

    Do all roadsters leak?????

My SRT is far more watertight than either my GTS or RT/10. On the other hand, the SRT has a couple of gobs of that nasty, sticky tar-like butyl stuff on the doors (been meaning to remove) though I'm not sure if that's relevant or not to the good waterproofing I have.

    Flickering lights

My headlights have also flickered off a few times though only for a fraction of a second. A couple of times it's happened right after turning them on; other times while driving.

    Which MGW shift knob?

If you're stocking up on goodies now, make sure to open the Mopar Trunk Kit and see if BOTH sides of the required Velcro are enclosed. Otherwise plan a trip to Home Depot, Lowes or a fabric store: Many (most?) trunk kits were lacking half of the Velcro. As to floor mats, take a look at the...

What cars came with the full Conoly interior?

Have seen a number of black GTS's with cognac. Fantastic looking. Definitely available for at least '99 - '00. I may be wrong, but thought the Connoly option wasn't anywhere nearly as expensive as the $2000-3000 previously mentioned.
