    What are you basing your facts on? Not calling you a liar by any means just stating there are no published times for either car at this point. To say one is better than the other as far as performance is merely personal opinion. I guess I'm not one to bench race.

    I never said there wasn't mods, but while the SRT owner is spending $20,000 to get into the 11's the Lightning is doing it for around $2,000. BIG difference.

    You're wasting your breath. I posted a month agothat it wasn't the Blue Devil (no high rise hood that is NEEDED for the blower) and the it 3was the Base Z06 that ran the 7:45 at the ring. Still no one believes it, I guess the truth will be known when the Z06 hits the streets. :cool...

    It was tounge in cheek, sorry if I offened. But I have seen a Viper owner post something negative about his car (like sidestill yellowing) and then have several members flame him for it. I mean NO car is perfect, none of mine are but I can admit that. I just don't get the "holier than thou"...

    Stock the SRT is faster but minimal mods and the Lightning is in the 11's. Ask Fast Freddy, he's already beaten Vipers and Z06 in his Lightning. :o

    520HP AND 200 MPH

    Cost has ZERO to do with it, it's all about aerodynamics (Vipers had good gearing w/ 3.07). While the GTS has a menecing "in your face"/Bad Azz styling it flat out sucks in the aerodynamic sector.

    A 505hp, 3100lb car and better aerodynamics vs a 510hp (Thanks for the HP boost DC :rolleyes: ) 3400lbs car Personally I don't think it will be as close as you think. I'm not saying the Z06 will SMOKE the coupe but it won't be within a car length/ .1 of each other.

    Motor Trend stats 11.5 for the Z06. It could run 14's along w/ the Coupe for all we know. Neither car is out and both are speculation at best.
