My first attempt to post pictures - '96 GTS

Re: My first attempt to post pictures - \'96 GTS Bob, Very nice photo's. Excellent use of lighting. It seems everytime I have the opportunity to take pics of my Viper, the sun is high in the sky, causing all sorts of glare. The best time for pics are during either sunrise or sunset. Was that...

Gas Cap - Left at Gas Station

Your decision to go with the "Type R" muffler bearing demonstrates the fact that you know what you're talking about. It's a little known fact that the "Type R" unit will increase your Qtr mile trap speed by 35 mph in 90 degree weather / 90% humidity. Using "Type R" will increase the risk of you...

Gas Cap - Left at Gas Station

Uh yeah,,,that's easily explainable. The lack of the gas cap in and of itself would not necessarily adversely affect the operation of the power windows. However, in your case, since you turned the engine on and drove the car, you triggered the improper fluctuation of the muffler bearing. The...

Can anybody identify this front facia???

That's the best looking scale model I've ever seen of the GTS. Still wonder why they didn't go with a front facia like that or why no after market supplier produced one like that. ps: Didn't know they put scale models in VCA calendars.

Can i run Roe SC with stock cats?

Ron, the stock cat is actually two cats welded end to end. There are two cat elements inside the unit with space in between them. That's probably why the stock cats are so restrictive and get so hot. When cutting down the middle of the cat, you're only cutting the casing.

Can anybody identify this front facia???

Found this on a old VCA calender. It's the best looking front facia I've seen on a Viper. Is it a one of a kind factory prototype or is it an after market? One more question, where's the door handle? Great photo by the way........ :2tu:

Can i run Roe SC with stock cats?

Joe, Did you try taking the stock cats and cutting them in half then opening the ends to 3 inches? These modified stock cats pass strict CA emmissions (dyno with sniffer up the tailpipe) with no problems. Of course the Roe S/C itself would fail you immediately. :( The exhaust note...

    Lazy rear glass rods

Hey Ironhand, I know what you mean by "Vipertax." :D Those gas cylinders aren't serviceable. The seals are probably shot anyway. I had the gas struts go out on the camper shell of my truck. Went back to the place I bought the camper shell from and they wanted 40 bucks a piece. Then went to a...
