Re: Let\'s Keep This Forum Pure --- SRT 10 INFO ONLY
Lee, I agree. Tony Vipermad does an oustanding job of moderating and archiving in between doing his real job and polishing his posermobile. :D Personally, I would rather keep it simple and have less sub-sections like we had in the old days...
Re: Let\'s Keep This Forum Pure --- SRT 10 INFO ONLY
Can a Vipair be modified to fit on a Gen III? How much RWHP gain can be expected on an SRT-10 with a Vipair? :D
Here are a couple pics of the nickel finish tube. Sorry I don't have any close-ups. BTW, I have high flow cats and just passed Smog a couple days ago with no problems.
Hi John,
Congrats on the new snake and welcome to The Viper Nation. Good to see another snake in NorCal. I'm sure its painfull looking at it parked in the garage while its raining out here. Your patience will be rewarded once it clears and you get that bad boy out for the first time. :cool...
Edward,
If you're talking about 3M Clear Bra for the front of your GTS, Click Here . You can get the kit for around $600. I've never had any experience with it but I talked to a GTS owner who paid $1,300 to have it done.
That about sums it all up. As of this morning, I had the worst model since it's sitting in the garage. In about 10 minutes I'll have the best model since I'm gonna hit the road and make a run into Saratoga (Randy, if you see a Blue & White on De Anza Blvd. that would be me).
Jeff, sorry to...
Terry,
Those are some great words of advice. Even though most of us already know it. It's nice to be reminded every now and then. Sometimes the hustle and bustle of life makes us forget the important things. Things like slowing down and enjoying life.
The Viper is a great stress reliever...
This is a long thread, we have plenty of time...go for it.
Just a thought...but could front tires being out of balance have anything to do with vibrations in the steering wheel?
hmmmmm...I guess road surface and alignment aren't part of the equation.
Who needs OBDII with you around. Next...
Depends on what you're looking for. The "cool" blue look or more effective lighting. 4300 degrees Kelvin is closest to white light, 5250K is closest to sunlight. I chose Philips 4100K for maximum lighting. I wouldn't go above 6000K unless you want to sacrifice lighting for the "cool" look.
Re: Black N\' Blue SRT-C FE (PICS)
Kenneth,
Like everyone else says....lose the bra. Go with the Clear Bra or go nekkid. BTW, great looking car... :2tu:
Lee,
The wheels look great! :2tu: Perfect fender to tire clearance. That's the way it should have looked from the factory. Did you make it by Ted's for the gears?
With the stock airbox a small notch had to be cut out of the airbox for the AN fitting to clear.
With the Carbon Fiber airbox, no problem.
Thanks Scott
