I am considering adding a Fluidyne radiator to my GTS..How much cooler will it run with this setup? Does your car feel faster due to lower tempretures of the engine? I am also considering The Roe air deflector as an alternative with my current stock radiator. Anyone tried one of these yet? Thanks...AL...

AL,

I replaced my stock radiator with a Fluidyne radiator / oil cooler and twin Spal fans. It did run cooler but can't say I noticed any power increase from it. Peace of mind...definately. With your 96, you may want to upgrade to a 99 fan. The issue isn't so much the radiator but the ability to move air through the radiator. The radiator will cool the coolant sufficiently, its just that at low speeds, the fan isn't moving enough air. Also, make sure you get the air out of your cooling system. There's a right up on this site for that process. Or you can get Sean's silicone hose with the bleeder valve.

The Roe duct kit will definately help. Its a matter of whether you're willing to cut a hole in your front facia.

Here's my set-up.
