    Get the bugs off after a long drive. If the water doesn't "bead", it is time for wax. The folks on this forum use every wax known to man, and love them. Your choice. Most importantly, learn the car well BEFORE you squeeze it, they will BITE you and quickly. Enjoy. :2tu:

    Big dyno numbers from stock 97 GTS

    Those are great numbers and makes me feel real good with my 97GTS. I have done the K&N filters, smooth tubes and just about to finish a Gen1 side exhaust. I felt like mine ran good, but having never driven others, I had nothing to compare it to. Thanks for the info, you made my day. :headbang:

    Did a little cleaning tonite on the car.....

    This make me feel guilty about how mine looks on the underside. If I sit down and relax, the urge to do what you just did will go away and I will still have the skin on my knuckles. :)

    Sills discolored

    I am having my sills repainted now and I was wondering where I can get the clear protective tape that goes on the front and the turnout area to help with rock chips. I didn't mean to steal this thread. Thank you. Doc

    Exhaust Info

    Agree with Fred all the way. What one person likes may be offensive to you. Go listen to many and then make your choice. I, personally, left my stock cats on an like it that way. Don't get in a hurry, they are expensive to buy and install. My .02 :D

    RT/10 Deck Lid Luggage Rack

    I am surprised that someone has not made a nice chrome luggage rack that attaches to the trunk lid like a lot of older English cars had. I had one on my Austin Healey and it worked great , and looked good when not loaded. Seems like it would do good on an RT/10 or a SRT10. Just a thought. ;)

    Dead Battery ???

    If you are using a Battery Tender brand of charger, when you get a flashing red light it can mean one of two things. (1) It is hooked up incorrectly (2) The battery is at 80% charge If the battery is "toast", it will most likely tell the charger it is charged but have a dead cell and NOT take...

    Sorry to hear about your relative's disrespect for your viper. You have more self-restraint than I would have had in the same situation. My uncle would have had a "shinner" at least. You did the smart thing, but not the most fun thing. I hope you get it fixed for a reasonable sum. :crazy:

    15w50 mobile 1, cooler weather, when to change????

    I plan on running 15w50 Mobil 1 in my engine next summer. It gets soooo hot here and the Viper GTS likes to run hot anyway, I feel that it is safer for my engine.(Just my opinion). I run 20w50 in all of my cars here in So. Az.and my El Camino has 225k on the engine. Our temps don't drop very low...

    Where you live the humidity is sky high. You are going to get a lot of condensation in the exhaust system.     Mine seems to be between. It shows 30psi at hot idle, and 50-55 at speed. Go figure! :confused:
