Ever since I had my muffler cut off (a couple weeks), my 96' RT/10 spits water out the rear exhaust tips when I crank it up. Not sure if it quits when I'm driving or not. I had the exhaust shop cut the stock tips off the muffler to reuse them and they cleaned them before welding back on. They used water to clean them, but I would think all that water would have been blown out by now. My headgaskets were done under warranty, so I dont think (and hope) its not related to them. Anyone have any clue what could be causing the water to shoot out?

Where you live the humidity is sky high. You are going to get a lot of condensation in the exhaust system. That is why you need to be sure to heat the exhaust system up before shutting down(very short start and shut downs cause more condensation. Once the exhaust is up to temp, there should be no more water. :2tu:

Normal.
If the head gasket goes, and the water gets into cylinder, you will have yourself a Stanley Steamer and white steam will just keep coming.(I have replicated this before).

This is also the "smoke" from tailpipes on cold days.

Water is also a by product of the combustion process. You will always get water out of the pipes, it is just a question of how much. As the exhaust system heats up you will also convert the water into vapor. Thus you will not see it as much as when you start up.

You see white smoke it is time to find the leaky head gasket.
