That is such a VASTLY different group of cars. If I wanted to make stupid power it would be a GEN II viper. Every other situation F430 spider. That car is SEX ON WHEELS. Absolutely nothing compares to an open top mid engine ferrari for pure driving experience. It's one of those things you...
You know HP is just a function of TQ across a given RPM band. It completely depends on the MOTOR and gearing. Vipers have TON of torque in a relatively low (for a crazy hp motor) RPM range. It's really a mute point, build the matching combo and either setup can win races. Generally lower rpm...
I think one big reason is that the people buying these high HP cars don't even consider mpg as part of the purchase. It's disposable income for a toy and they generally have other vehicles to drive daily. That being said if you only drive it 10k miles/yr on the weekends etc. who really cares...
TONS of potential there. I concur that it needs to be droped like a bad habit. Also lose ALL the badging, windshield sticker screams "rice" also ditch the fender stickers 'srt-10 supercharged'.... remember, speak softly carry a blown V10 :tu:
Just cause it would go GREAT with your car, do a...
Very nice. Now it's MOD TIME. Hate to say jump on the bandwagon but SRT's just NEED a set of black centered 19/20's. Drop it an inch all around and you will have one nasty lookin mofo.
Congrats on the new ride.
I'm not into the look at all. The srt doesn't need side skirts at all, and the splitter is weak at best. I was expecting to see a nice functional carbon piece with the little reinforcing struts. Now that would be hot, ala comp coupe and all.
Not to sound like an ass but the "ricer" mods...
If your order the right offset/backspacing any 18+" wheel will fit. I'm sure any of the custom wheel companies (CCW, HRE, DTM etc.) will fit w/o a problem. Any wheel that fits over a stoptech or other big brake kit will work great.
hahahaha your offically the sackless laughing stock of the viper community. God you somehow rank lower on the "my wife owns my balls" than 2 minivans Schill.

March UD pulleys for a 5.9 dakota fit the viper and retain the 7 rib belt.
Whole steering rack assembly and tie-rods/ends are the same from the 97-99' 2wd dakotas.
I believe the front wheel hubs are the same as well.
I still can't figure out why they keep using JH's cars in all these magazine tests. His stuff is nice but rather behind the times these days in the realm of crazy HP vipers. Bring Chads car out, or one of Gary's monsters and you would see something wild. I tend to believe either of those 3...
You never cease to amaze us with your lack of knowledge and general stupidity. That car is making double the HP of an F1 car and at 1/3 the rpm. Run along now.
This is true, but depending on the engine setup/cams etc. you may get misfire codes on the stock pcm which will not let is pass the OBD plug in.
I'm still trying to figure out how all these freakin ricers get by it but we can't.
Yeah i've seen pics of the car with the cognac interior, as rare as it might be I think it's down right ugly. Prefer one no stripes with black interior.
I've heard many contradicting stories and would like to hear from the guys who know for sure. Does the AEM standalone work with the factory OBD-II system which allows it to pass emissions testing? I'm not concerned with the sniffer stuff, but the plug in code testing, vin/mileage reading, and...
Thought I would correct that for ya. I know a lot of things change over 200 but I see no reason what so ever that car won't go 275 with ease. Get it down super low and maybe work on a belly pan and some other light aero mods and 300 is def in the cards. Go get em' tiger, just don't out run...
Well in the mean time might I suggest something very affordable, cheap to insure, and available in the same bitchin color:
One of these days I will find a sapphire GTS I like and have a nice matching pair.
