    I think one big reason is that the people buying these high HP cars don't even consider mpg as part of the purchase. It's disposable income for a toy and they generally have other vehicles to drive daily. That being said if you only drive it 10k miles/yr on the weekends etc. who really cares...

    I'm not into the look at all. The srt doesn't need side skirts at all, and the splitter is weak at best. I was expecting to see a nice functional carbon piece with the little reinforcing struts. Now that would be hot, ala comp coupe and all. Not to sound like an ass but the "ricer" mods...

    If your order the right offset/backspacing any 18+" wheel will fit. I'm sure any of the custom wheel companies (CCW, HRE, DTM etc.) will fit w/o a problem. Any wheel that fits over a stoptech or other big brake kit will work great.

    Shared parts between Vipers and other brands.

    March UD pulleys for a 5.9 dakota fit the viper and retain the 7 rib belt. Whole steering rack assembly and tie-rods/ends are the same from the 97-99' 2wd dakotas. I believe the front wheel hubs are the same as well.

    The foaming tire/wheel cleaner works very well to get a lot of the small crap off, plus it leaves all the wires/hoses nice and shiny.

    This is true, but depending on the engine setup/cams etc. you may get misfire codes on the stock pcm which will not let is pass the OBD plug in. I'm still trying to figure out how all these freakin ricers get by it but we can't.

    Well in the mean time might I suggest something very affordable, cheap to insure, and available in the same bitchin color: One of these days I will find a sapphire GTS I like and have a nice matching pair.
