    .040 spark plug gap

I am assuming they were not original plugs and that they had been changed at some point. At 44k miles i figure someone changed them before me. Although the plugs seemed more tarnished than I expected so maybe they were stock plugs. That makes me wonder what else is stock.. What color plug wires...

    .040 spark plug gap

Ive heard that gapping between .028 and .032 is the best, but going to .040 seems excessive on the opposite spectrum! Im wondering why they were that way and what benefit they thought it gave...

    .040 spark plug gap

Does anyone know a reason why the previous owner of my car gapped the stock champion spark plugs at .040? Recommended gap is .032, which is what i set the new ones at. I think Im making it up in my mind, but the car seems to be running richer after I changed the plugs. Is running richer a good...

First time rear differential flush swap ... bolt stuck , thread lock from factory?---

Re: First time rear differential flush swap ... bolt stuck , thread lock from factory Exhaust can get in the way. My 3” pipes were a challenge but an extension can allow you to get square to the plug. This may be something they didn't do and caused rounding.

Re: First time rear differential flush swap ... bolt stuck , thread lock from factory The transmission is a 3/8” square but the diff is a 3/8” allen hex bit

First time rear differential flush swap ... bolt stuck , thread lock from factory?---

Re: First time rear differential flush swap ... bolt stuck , thread lock from factory I had to use a 3ft breaker bar to loosen mine. Did they strip the plug? Its a 3/8in allen bit and possible to break it loose without paying all that money to the dealer ship...

Looking to buy a GTS and saw this today

Its a 10 hp gain in an acr.. Its suspension mainly. A good exhaust system will get you 50+ on a gts. Its worth the money if you want a rare car. My valve covers have some small bubbles but that is typical of our cars. My first thought on those valve covers is a strong cleaner doubled with a...

Emergency brake POPS and has a spring sound when pulled up high ... normal? ---
