    Sills discolored

Actually, a repaint is very easy and you can have them done off the car. While the sills are off, replace the cats with high-flow units so it doesn't happen again. Mike

    HELP !! Problem with hood paint on 2000RT/10 ** 56K Warning **

None of you guys think that may have been a hood repair that they didn't let 'set up' before painting? I'd have to agree with the naca duct comment though -- they installed it before the paint was dry.

    Looking for chrome emblems

I have seen lots of them on your cars, but mine has a twist. I want the chrome Viper RT/10 logo as well as the 1996-specific sneaky pete in chrome to put on the hood. Any ideas/suppliers? Thanks, Mike

Belanger headers and B&B catless catback

Stock bolts should work fine. I used a new set of factory gaskets with the header install w/o probs. I'll tell you about a little gotcha I had with B&Bs on a 1996 RT/10 -- on the passenger side, the second pipe from the firewall I believe needed to be ovaled to clear the frame rail. Not a...

What determines the redline of an engine?

Pretty much the weight of the individual valves and the type and rate of the springs are the most important factors. In the very high RPM range, oiling becomes a major factor (main bearings and such) as well as lifters. Rev limit should always be lower than the point at which the valves begin...

    Okay, need some help here!

Thanks for the quick reply 99, but I want to disassemble it, not remove it from the vehicle (which, incidentally, I have alreeady done per the factory repair book). Unfortunately, the stinkin manual does not have any info on taking the mirror apart, which is what I want to do in preparation for...

Hey guys, I'm sure someone on this board has disassembled a non-power side-view mirror before. Please - What's the trick? Is there a special tool to remove the mirror or something? Thanks in advance, Mike

    96' Hardtop & Softtop

Re: 96\' Hardtop & Softtop Nope. The 1994 and 1996 are definitely different. It seems to have to do with the depth of the retention pegs in the front. They must have changed something with the windshield frame somewhere in there. Can't be of more help, but maybe this will spark some...
