Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the PCM have to detect an error condition during multiple run sessions in order to turn on the MIL? Until this threshold is met they are Pending DTC's then they become Stored DTC's when the MIL is turned on. If this is indeed true I am speculating...

I agree, the increased competition has helped to drive down the price vs. performance and raise the level of customer service. It will be interesting to see where it goes from here.
