I'm probably going to get flamed for this but before I say it, THIS IS JUST MY OWN OPINION (and the opinion of some others)!! To me, the factory tops always looked like an after thought with it just sitting on top of the sport bar and not flush with it. I've had several questions from friends...
I received the three piece top from Citymaker after a delay getting it built but the wait was well worth it. All I had was the original soft top but I just didn't like the looks and after seeing several rave reviews on the Citymaker three piece, I took the plung. After screwing up the first...
I'm painting the three piece citymaker top I just recently got. I thought I would upgrade to an HVLP from my tried and true 25 year old Fitz siphon feed gun and that proved to be an expensive mistake. HVLP's takes a whole different technique than the old time guns and I basically screwed up...
The Roe is not noisy at all. I have pretty much a stock exhaust and there is just a faint "whistle". Other have said the same. If you were contemplating putting a SC on anyway, then it may not be a bad deal. Just check to see who installed it, when, how many miles with the SC, etc. Figure...
Three says I have them oriented correctly versus two non-correct. Two sounds like it depends on the brand. I'm concluding it doesn't matter, just pick one direction and go with it. Brembo says for their rotors the outer edge of the slot should contact the pads first when rotating...
I had a Vette fella tell me my rotors are rotating the wrong direction at a cruise in this weekend. These are Pro-stop and there were no left/right markings on them. I always thought the end of the slot nearest the outer edge of the rotor should make contact with the disk pad first. Is this...
It happened again tonight. I shut the car off a few seconds and started it back up and it ran fine. I'm almost convinced the issue is in the Eaton bypass somehow. I checked it out to make sure there was nothing hanging the mechanism up and everything was free and clear. The only thing I can...
I installed the Roe SC last week. Simply awesome! Everything went smooth (except for having to fish a nut out of the cylinder when it fell in one of the injector holes). Anyways, I have driven for several miles in and around town without any issues. There is some occasional detonation on...
Re: What\'s it take for a member to get banned??
There's a difference between having an opinion or constructive criticism as you put it and being a downright @sshole. I generally don't speak out but when I see this level of immaturity, I have to wonder.......how old are you, anyway?
Re: PICTURES!! Of my VIPER with my new CCW 505\'s!
Fantastic! I just put a set on my red RT but I don't have pics of it yet except of this closeup (ignore the broom handle). I went 19's all around. As for rice...I don't think so. I contemplated for a long time what wheels to get with money...
It IS clean! :( Ohhhh......you mean the cr@p behind the car? :) Part of that is my triple chrome plating setup that I have yet to move out to my new shop. It's got a bunch of stuff stacked on top of it for a lack of a better place. I guess I could have moved the wifey's car out of the...
I pinned the crankshaft, replaced the power steering pump pulley and bracket with billet, went to a colder spark plug, replaced the plug wires, and went with a 172 degree thermostat. Did I miss anything? :2tu:
Finished up the Roe SC last night. Started right up and only one code! I haven't taken it out on the street yet but I can tell after a few minutes of warmup in the garage and few revs, she's going to run like a striped monkey's @$$!
Question: Is it tacky to drive your car without the hood...
