    Does any one sell and make heat sheilds for the upper and lower ball joints and tie rod ends? I kind of visioned a steel sheild that would bolt up using the existing nuts on the ball joints/tie rods. But I could be wrong.

    70 to 80% of the vehicals total value is when an insurance co. will consider it an economical total loss. Where they base there values varies pending on what insurance co. it is, they are all are differant when it comes to determining value. Did you ever have like a collector car apprisal...

    Snow, Cold, Salt....

    Cost of Striping?

    $2,500 is a good price actually. To paint the stripes on each panel requirers the full panel to be painted. Its alot on materials to do the job and time too. So when all said and done you'll almost have a full paint job.

    Same here,25 when I bought it last year. When I get asked if thats my car and I answer "yes", its usually always followed by "really" :)

    Copperhead Paint

    You can have the same exact paint that was even originally used, but its how it is sprayed that also determins the color match. A shop's little spray guns cant 100% match what the factory uses to spray with. Solvent paints are very hard to match, but water born paint is a different story, color...

    They definitly are attention grabbers. In my first year of ownership I was kind of caught off guard by all the attention. I was used to flying somewhat low on the "attention radar" in my even very load Dakota R/T. But the Viper is a differant story, I got used to it by the end of the season...

    Paint quantity required for RT/10 colour change?

    You'll use alittle less than a gallon of clear. 64 oz of color depending on the color and the base that the color is going over.

    We would be able to do it, our shop is known for color match, but to bad I'm up in Ohio. :rolleyes: Anyways you best bet is a shop the does exclusivly or has knowledge with custom painting.
