Talk about a UNIQUE Viper!

That's Sasha's car (IL VCA member). The clue is the paint, but the interior is the dead giveaway. The car has been repainted twice. The paint is incredible. He took all the panels off the car to paint (he even posted a question here about removing one of the panels). I didn't know that he...

    Installing Mopar Spark Plug Wires

One little warning: Do not LEAN on your windshield when replacing the wires. One guy in our club did this and cracked his windshield (from the bottom center, up).

Which is a better road race tire MXXX or sport Pilots???

I've never driven MXX3's on the track, but what I've heard is new vs new: MXX3. New Pilot Sports vs unknown age MXX3's: Pilot Sport. My girlfriend switched to Pilot Sports a couple years ago based on "newer=better". So she has a set of very low mile 1996 MXX3s sitting in her garage, still...

RUMORS, LIES AND INNEUENDO / THE REST OF THE STORY

    >>There are 220 Manufacturing days in a year. Unless the manufacturing year starts in July 2002 and runs until December 2003. >>CAAP can build 10 cars a day More like 13-14/day from the Viper line alone, but 10 is a good number for on all new model. Something to ponder...

Chuck shows a tire wall who's boss

Re: Chuck shows a tire wall who\'s boss Been there, done that. Surprising, most of it will buff out. Even 99.9% of that blue paint (do all tire walls have this?) that appeared to be embedded into my black paint came off with the factory paint underneath, intact.

Good news for future Viper Values

It is very common for automakers to have minimal price increases between model years, and then bigger increases throughout the year. http://www.autonews.com/article.cms?articleId=37312

    Help - my car broke!

I suspect you lost the bushing at the front of the ladder bar on your Gen-1. FYI, the bushing is the same size as used on the front swaybar (in case you need to locate one at your local auto parts store).

    RT/10 rear window tint?

The rear window is actually DOT approved safety GLASS. It doesn't scratch like plastic/plexiglas/lexan/etc, and if you break it or even twist it too much, it will break into 1,003 little pieces. Try it.

    Warranty Service Denied - Options?

To paraphrase Steve: "Racing voids your warranty" (read your warranty... it's true) With that in mind, if you break something on the track ("driving school" or not)... 1) Do not come to a public forum and say you were on the track when it broke! 2) ONLY TAKE YOUR CAR TO A VCA FRIENDLY...

Re: Help with info on a \'97 RT The first Wednesday of the month: Sept 5. You can park behind the velvet ropes, next to Chuck's car. John Rago had a '97 Blue/White RT/10 with a full Venzano interior... I miss that car.
