I Agree.
Having a 900 mile car is tragic. What are you waiting for? Enjoy the thing.
That's like becoming celibate, so you can date a hot porn star!!! Frankly you guys and your car bubbles should be flogged! Or at least have your fluids drained and put on a rack for 15 years until I come up...
Sorry, but BJ is a joke and hurts the car market. Great revenue for them. But it is slowly destroying everything fun about our cars & their predecessors. I have no respect for someone who exploits the insecurities of others... Might as well be a pimp. :nono:
I just hope important car...
They likely think it is a cultural icon, similar to the Bel Air of the 50's, About 5 million of the Bel Air's were produced (Staggering considering the era). The Hi Performance ones are worth alot more, but in the long run, all of them are collectable.
I suppose any of these cars in perfect...
 I wasn't trying to misguide anyone. Price actually depends on the color and the year. I wanted Yellow, there are only 4 or 5 "new never titled" Yellow ones left. They only made about 135 Yellow with stripes out of 4000 cars. A few of the dealers that have them, think they are worth...
That reminds me of when the C5 came out. I walked into a Chevy dealer and asked if I could test drive one. The salesman said "NO WAY" they are a limited production this year.... Only 25,000 to be made. ;)
I paid a few thousand under. Most dealers are asking 20 to 30k over though.
It's not region based either. Two dealers within 100 miles will have completely different pricing.
Re: 08\' Viper, Gallardo, or keep what I have?
Walker is right. Take your time. I called about a dozen people before I found mine under msrp. The other dealers were pretty much smoking crack. They are still out there at or below sticker.
Good luck and my offer still stands.

If your interested in a GT and your near Crystal Lake IL, I'd be more than happy to take you for a spin. All your choices are pretty sweet though.

This is a useless thread.
Heres the scoop guys, theres a new Viper we wont tell you about today, but if you want to go to another site not associated with this one, you can read about the press release (which came from our site) that we wont show non-VCA members!!!
Good...
I had the displeasure of sharing a small conversation with John once. Suffice it to say, his arrogance kept me from participating on this board for years.
Frankly he's a D*** (rhymes with trick).
I was under the impression that the first 400 or so 93's with the antenna were hand built just like the 92's (basically, carry over cars). The 93's without the antenna, the new placement of the battery etc, marked the begining of non-hand built cars.
Does anyone know if this is true?
Because they are so extremely different, the quickest way to compare them is to say;
The Viper is raw torque and horsepower with a decent but not outstanding build quality. It is a modern day exotic muscle car.
The Ford GT feels much more sofisticated and purposeful, although it is faster...
30 Days after the Viper was totalled by my dealer... The day the pics of the new '08 Viper were released & only one week ago; I sent a deposit to West Virginia on my new ride. 3 days later I was on a plane to Pittsburg and hopped a ride down to Moundsville. Then I drove back to Chicago in...
I'm sorry anyone has to go through this. I can relate, my SRT10 was totalled last month (by the dealer) and everything turned out fine. My case was different though because it was a lease and it was obviously totalled.
Not sure if you should go in with a lawyer. Wait and see what they come back...
If the Viper remains in existence and is introduced at the "D" Show (which I think it will be).
I believe it will be far more than a new hood and engine. The amount of time retooling the production line indicates this.
A couple of mules with a Gen III body and a weird hood, means nothing in...
