Gen.1 bumper WILL NOT fit the GTS fenders, tried that, failed. :mad: Filled the hole with thin aluminum panel riveted to the bumper then filled and painted.
Had the same crap in my car and it never had belts in it. It's not silicone. That's the stuff they use to glue the rear tub to the frame. I used a die grinder to get the stuff out, the welded-in nuts are down there.

Yup, they do. I just looked. A little rebend of the rod and maybe some clearancing on the door itself, (don't know about clearance on door panel,) should be good to go!!!!

He put them on without looking at the valves?? Pretty hard to miss a burnt valve. Did he wash them prior to installing? If he did a good cleaning job, he would have seen a burnt valve. If he didn't clean them, what else got in your engine.

I have seen that top piece fall off of a couple ducts. Get some epoxy from a body shop and glue it back on. They are glued on at the factory, (whoever makes the duct), some don't get a good tech inspection when they leave the factory.:D
