Congratulations on your new car! As a new Viper owner myself I can tell you this is a great place to get useful information and is full of great people. I sent you a PM so when you get a chance check it out. Have fun and be safe!
Re: So soon after buying my Viper, I\'ve decided to sell it. \'99 GTS
Coming from this hard core forum of Viper lovers, this may be hard to believe, but I applaud your decision. Some things in life are more important than material objects. I'm sorry you have to sell your car, but happy for...
Yup, I uploaded them last night. Thanks for posting them here. So far so good and the seal tight! I think I hit the filter gasket on a couple, but it really doesn't matter-not going to hurt any thing. It really is a good fix for all you guys who are just tires of the clips flying off. When I...
I just screwed the 2 pieces together putting a screw at each corner. I'd post pics but I can never figure out how. If you want me to e mail you some let me know.
Re: Pics of my \'93 RT/10
Ya that's it! Love the car and it's a blast to drive. I'm going to put high flo cats on it to reduce the temp. Other than that the car is the way I bought it. Not sure what was changed exactly to make it a Venom 500. I have a e mail into [******] to find out but no...
Re: Pics of my \'93 RT/10
Nice ride man! I have a 94. Don't know how you drive that being lowered and all. I have trouble with the roads around here-I'm just out side Philly!
Hi flow cats or mufflers for my \'94?
Ok guys, I did a search and read all I could about hi flow cats and removing the cats all together. Problem is, I do NOT want the car any louder. My main reason for wanting to do some thing with the cats is to reduce the heat in the cabin and sills. S o i...
I had the same problem with mine. The clips would not hold no matter what I did. I like the rivet idea, but I just took the clips off, bought 8 stainless screw of the appropriate length and all is well.
I was waiting for the internals of the Talon to pour out the exhaust tip. Call me in a week-the Viper can pull like this all day and still drive you home. :2tu:
This sounds like great advise. Also, not too expensive! For what it's worth, you may want to get a leak down test to be on the safe side, cause if you're getting a sticky valve at high RPM, it could become expensive!
Been away for a couple days guys, but I wanted to drop a note and give a big THANKS to all who chimed in! The tires are in fact the original OEM so I will get them replaced ASAP, along with a check of the whole front end and an alighnment to 95 specs. I'll let you know how it turns out! Thanks...
Cool, thanks a lot guys. One of the main reasons I bought a Gen 1 was because I wanted what I consider to be strictly a sport car-no windows, locks, etc. I'm fine with the way it is just wanted to make sure it was normal! Thanks again!
ps-Not saying the Gen 2 n 3's aren't sports cars-God...
As I'm sure some of you know, I recently aquired my first Viper about 3 weeks ago. 1994 RT/10 which I love. I have been searching these boards looking for any and all info on this model car for things to improve or fix that weren't correct from the factory. FYI, the car is stock. I have driven...
Thanks guys, I appreciate the help! Sorry for posting the question if it had been asked already, but I tried a search and came up empty. Thanks again for the help though!
