Well, I needed the extra power - you killed me out of the hole both times! You - and your car launch HARD!:clap2: Greg

Our very own Fireball is famous. Story and video clip from Race City Speedway.

I've asked my Alderman whether she prefers if I race on Deerfoot Trail or MacLeod Trail in Calgary. An election is still 2 years off but if you live in Calgary VOTE CAREFULLY! I WILL make this an election issue. This is something that will cause deaths. I do all these track days and...

Post up the best pic of your SRT

That photo was taken at Infineon (Sears Point) - walls everywhere. There was one spot where water just ran across the track and the car would float for about 30' every lap then get grip back. Scary the first few laps but once it became predictable, no problem. The guys said that the ACR had...

    Thanks Dodge!

I've just set everything to the smooth track settings - except a little bit higher ride height (2mm) because the track has some bumpy spots. Last weekend I softened all compression and rebound 2 clicks but the car pushed a little more so I may go back to my original settings then 2 clicks the...

    Thanks Dodge!

How many miles do your have? BTW, I see you have an Exige S. I did a program for the Lotus dealer in Vancouver B.C. I drove 19 different Lotus's in one day. Elise, Exige and Exige S (unfortunatlly not a 211) and they are great cars. I love them even though I'm 6'2" and 270lbs! Greg

    Thanks Dodge!

I'm stock. Just Team Tech belts and a skip shift eliminator. I'm running under the track record for a street car on OEM rubber so I want to stay factory for a while. Our track closes at the end of this year and I want the track record forever! BTW, I hold the record now in a 1000HP...

    Thanks Dodge!

About 3400km. Let's see here, carry the 6 then square the 7 multiply by the denominator.... yep, about 2100 miles. Greg

I've run with PS2's They work pretty good. Certainly not 'R' compound - but I think they're a good solid tire. When I ran them I used 38psi rear and 36psi front cold, on a street alignment. You don't get much wear at those pressures. If I wanted maximum grip I'd lower them a fair bit and...

    Thanks Dodge!

I had 2 track days this weekend and my ACR worked perfectly. I've been the fastest car every track day that I've had here. And that includes Porsche GT2's, GT3RS's, Ford GT's, Ferrari 430 Scudaria's and 599's. Enzo's (yes - more than one)... everyhting. Then when I drive home from the...

Best Brake Pads for Track Days

Stock Viper brakes are excellent brakes - some of the best OEM brakes in the world. There's better, but they usually come with some compromises that you don't have to make with the Viper brakes. A good example is the Gallardo Superleggera. The brakes are awesomely powerful at threshold braking...

Things are going well and it looks like we'll have a decent turnout. There's ONE SPOT LEFT FOR THE DYNO! Let me know if you want in ASAP. More good news, we're having a BBQ! I'll send details on this a little later on too. I need to make clear that this is a VIPER CLUB EVENT and is for...

    one weekend a month

Hey Shane, Nice meeting you at the show. When I went to pick up the ACR (and the Vert.) I received a trophy for a TOP 10 in the show. He said they don't do fist, second, etc - just top 10. He did say that the ACR had the highest number of votes! Cool! My first car show ever and I won it...

Doesn't get much better than this [PIC]

I've posted a few pics of my ACR but none of my Vert. Here's one that looks pretty good. I don't like static photo's - I find them boring, but it's still a great pic of the Vert. I'm selling the car and these are the pics I took for the ad.

From the dealership go a few kilometers north on MacLeod Trail. Turn left on Hull road (after 90th Ave. and just before Heritage Drive). At the bottom of the hill is the car wash that I usually use. Nothing special but it has good pressure and is usually fairly clean. I might be there! I...

    08 service manual

OK - I just ordered mine. $90 plus shipping - total $101.25. My shipping is a little cheaper - I guess Canada is closer to Italy than the Sates are! ;)

    08 service manual

Does anyone know the price of the CD manual? By the looks of things it won't be long before I'm doing all my own work...... Just ask me about my Hummer H1 and how well GM has treated me. I'm hoping for better from whatever happens to Dodge, but it really couldn't be worse.

    one weekend a month

My plan is to take both Vipers there. I won't be able to stay with the cars since my crew and I will be wrenching on my race car all day. I'll drop off in the morning and pick up at the end of the day. I'll call tomorrow and see if it's OK to do that. I really need to get my race car into...

    ACR - Clearbra options?

I hate that stuff - I think it looks terrible, especially on darker coloured (CDN spelling) cars. I have no doubt that it protects your car though. I don't have plastic seat covers either - it also protects your car. The sad thing is that I really don't want any chips in my paint but I'm...

    For a good time call.......Fireball

Sean, Thanks for your post!:headbang: I'm really glad you had a good time. It was worth the wait to get the whole track - thanks for hanging around longer (much longer) than expected. Greg PS - I changed the rear pads today. I also adjusted the compression and rebound hoping to get a...

Best way to strap down my ACR

I've used e-track on the front and rear for two trips from Calgary, Alberta to Infineon and Thunderhill in Northern CA. They worked beautifully. Just check them when you make your fuel or potty stops to make sure a tire hasn't gone down allowing the strap to loosen. Greg

    Cama S/S

OK. I'm really not a show and shine kinda guy. I'm more of a show and go but August 8th is one of the few weekends that I'm not scheduled for an offroad trip in my H1 Hummer, a race, a driving school or a track day. I'm not sure what might come up between now and then but if I'm available...
