I'm back in the market for a Viper after a year of being Viperless due to a layoff (I had a black 04) and would love to get my hands on an 08 coupe. Problem is, my price range right now is low-mid 60's. I'm finding plenty of low mileage convertibles for that price, but the only two coupes I've...
Truth be told, I'm still somewhat tempted to buy it, as I love the color and can't find another coupe in the mid 60's except for a green one (was never a fan of barf green), but someone on the viper alley forum said that the interior is pretty banged up, as is the exterior paint.
Same here; the number listed in the ad was non-working. A few days later, the ad went down, then the legitimate one for Bud's Chrysler went up.
When I called about the car, the salesman told me the car had new tires. It seemed a bit odd that a car with that few miles would have new tires, now...
lol S-JC, I'm amused at what a curmudgeon you are, though I agree with you 100%. I'm more terrified that someone with the kind of learning disability represented by this kind of written communication is driving a 600 horsepower car with no traction or stability control. Somebody buy this kid a...
Can someone clarify the VIN of the one that was an SRT experience car? I'm currently talking to a dealership that claims to have a GTS blue coupe with black stripes. The VIN on theirs is: 1B3JZ69Z88V200056. It has 9000 miles, selling price is $65000. That a good deal?
They...
Bah, Car and Driver writers are the biggest Chevrolet fanboys I have ever seen. Even in their first SRT-10 viper article, they recommended the C5 z06 over the new Viper because it was a better "daily driver". People aren't buying Vipers to buy groceries or take road trips in (though it does...
That looks great. How involved is the installation of those rollbars anyway? I'd like to get one and maybe install it myself, but if it's too much work I'd just leave it to a professional.
I pay 1340 every 6 months, USAA. One ticket, 22 years old. It's the only car I have on that policy. This is in a pretty small town, though. Las Cruces, NM.
Edit: This is with 500 dollar deductibles on an 04 SRT-10.
Haha wow. I just got on the forums this morning because I had the EXACT same problem trying to get to work today. I hadn't used the car over the weekend and when I tried to start it, I got the same machine gun sound you did. I checked the battery voltage with a multimeter and it was about 12.07...
