In a twisted way, I think this is great! It's usually the dealerships that sell a car to someone, then the new owner has problems, and the dealership tell's you it's not their problem; you bought a used vehicle and we had no knowledge of these issues.
Screw Dealership B, it's probably karma...
Get the gaskets here....
Throttle Bodies
Also be aware of the width of the blade on the throttle shaft that fits in the TPS. Mine was too wide and would make the throttle hang at high RPM's. I had to take a dremel and carefully shave it down to make it work properly.
Yep, Dave's a great guy! (the Big Brakes Dave that is):D
Tony, if those are plastic zip ties, you may want to swap them out for metal ones. Over time the plastic becomes very brittle and weak.
I have adjustable Koni's with Hyperco springs and was wondering if it is ok to powder coat the springs. Powder coating temps are up to 450 degrees. Will heating them to this temp make them fatigue or lose their spring rating?:dunno:
Oops, Sorry I just realized that I didn't answer your question.
If you don't use the anti seize it will be impossible (or extremely difficult) to install the hub, even though you've heated the hub to thermally expand it prior to bolting it into place.
I thought you were using an ATI damper. Knowing Doug, I figured if he recommended a pin kit, then you are probably using an ATI damper since that's what he uses.
It's no theory. It's straight out of the ATI installation instructions....."It is highly recommended that you use anti-seize...
His wording seems kind of odd.....
I bought this car new.
No known damage of any kind on or in this car. (How could you buy a car new and not know of every tiny flaw?)
There are no dings visible on the exterior of this vehicle. (no dings visible? Bubba filled them all in?)
The original...
What a test of ethics. You've done your due diligence; talked to the cops, neighbors, posted the VIN, etc. to try to help out, but it's still there. Let's strip that puppy!!!!:drive:
That's a crazy story Michael!!! Please let us know the rest of the story if you find out what happened.
At this point, I don't think anyone will miss a couple of seats.....oh, and I could use a fog light.:D
DodgeViper01, Holy cow!!! 9,336 posts since Oct 2007???:omg:
My clear bra ran about 650.00 for the front facia, hood, head lights, fog lights and rear view mirrors.
Hope that helps!
