I'm looking to buy one of these, are there any forum vendors that sell them and can save me some money off street price? I'd also be interested in a used one if there are any floating around out there.
Thanks, Matt
Any idea how it compares to the Corsa 3" exhausts? I'm on the hunt for a quieter alternative to my Corsas. Damn things are driving me nuts with the drone they produce.
I'm not sure to be honest, I bought the car with the exhaust pre-installed. There are no warning lights on my dash, so no codes. It's not actually that loud, it's just the low frequencies that are killing me.
Yes, I'm in Boston. I was at Chuck's place on Friday morning discussing this and he's keeping an eye out for a Gen 4 system for me.
I'll post in the NE section too, thanks!
Hi -
If you have a Gen 4 stock exhaust system and want to sell it or trade it toward my Corsa exhausts, let me know! After doing 650 miles this weekend, the Corsas on my car are just too loud for me.
Thanks! Matt :)
I'm DD'ing my 06 Roadster with Corsa exhausts on it. I absolutely love the way it sounds but after playing in metal bands for many years my ears are sensitive and the volume is getting to me. Anyone else running Corsa's that's bothered by the volume? I'm thinking about going back to stock or...
I'm the one that started this thread and this is my 6th day with the Viper as my DD. I've started using 6th when I'm doing more than 70, but man... it sounds like hell with Corsa's and is fairly powerless turning 1200-1300 RPM. I'm hoping the upside to this is better MPG's although that doesn't...
That's about what I was doing too but anything below 75-80 seems a little slow for 6th. I'm coming from a Corvette C6 and would use 6th gear every time I got on the highway.
Hi - I just bought a 2006 Roadster and drove it from NYC to Boston to get it home. Why does this car have a 6th gear, is it to hit the top speed? It seems pretty useless unless I'm doing north of 80 or 90 and even then the engine feels like it's being bogged down. Do you guys use 6th gear often...
Thanks Jon -
By using the Carfax report, I was able to get in touch with a shop that serviced the car a few times. They were familiar with the previous owner. Hopefully he'll contact me, if not I'll just have a Viper tech go through the car and make my decision with the info I get from him.
Hi -
I'm considering the purchase of a 2006 SRT10 Roadster and I'm wondering if any of you guys know anything about this particular car. It's for sale at a dealer who picked it up at an auction and they know nothing about the history of it. I'm concerned about the purchase because in my...
I do understand about the front fascia, I own a C6 that's my DD and the front of that is about the same height. My car has 25,000 miles on it and it's PRISTINE compared to the Viper. I've been waiting a long time to get a Viper and although this car is a little cheaper than others I've seen, I'd...
The current owner is a Hyundai dealer and they bought the car at auction. The only records are what's showing in the Carfax report. Seems like alot of the Vipers I see for sale at dealers came from an auction, any idea why that is?
Alot of the scratches were deep enough that primer was visible. Ideally, I think the front and rear fascias need to be removed and repainted. The car only has 12K miles on it and if the previous owner allowed the paint to get that beat up, I can only imagine how he treated the car in general...
Hi -
I'm considering the purchase of a 2006 Roadster and would like to get a warranty for it. Who has the best deals on extended warranties for these cars? I did a search and saw some dealer names mentioned but has anyone shopped around and found one dealer to have the best prices?
Also, the...
