    I believe what MTGTS is saying is that there should be an "owner" status and with that they should be able to post in the regional section. These "owners" then might make it to an event and possibly join. I agree.

    I put a small piece of 3m protective tape on both sides so they rub on each other and not the paint. It worked good for me.
