    In New York we can transfer plates from one car to another. If you transfer your jetta plates to the Viper and get new jetta plates, you stand a better chance of not getting a ticket.

    Can't get insured - Any suggestions?

    Tire Pressure

    Wouldn't keeping less air, say 28 lbs in the tires give you a little more traction ? More rubber surface hitting the road. I was just curious I keep 29 lbs in mine.

    2000 Black RT10 just said it in another post and it's excellent advice. "It's hard to say what advice to give since you owned alot, but one of the most dangerous situations I try to be aware of is when passing another car on a 2 lane road is the dreaded flat spin.. best to ease off the gas...

    Protective tape question...

    Small curves were easy, but like Agent says leave complicated curves to the pros. I didn't do any hard curves on my RT. I didn't use a heat gun just a lot of juice and elbow grease.

    Anyone trimmed the lower lip of the fascia?

    My RT came with a fork on it already. It has taken some abuse so I don't think powdercoating it would be wise. I have since taken it off to shorten the tongs a bit and maby a little red spray paint to hide it better.
