Engine break in oil

Purchasing Viper from out of state dealers
Gotta agree with the above-Woodhouse Dodge/Bill Pemberton was fine to work with, the price was good, car was not damaged in transportation to California. How to properly wash a Viper ???
SoCal Rebel- I have a few fine swirl marks on my sapphire acr that I tried to remove with Z5 (about 6 or 7 coats)- no apparent improvement. I then took the advice of trying 3m swirl remover (several tries at that)- no improvement. I then tried Meguiars polish alternating with 3m swirl...- Vypr GT2

Best towels to use?

Viper places 3rd - cupholders a factor...
To save yourself some nausea, skip the lame charts and cupholder stuff and just watch the videos- they are very entertaining and well done. The narration of the videos reveals that Edmunds agrees the Viper has the best performance and most "head turning" looks (but its "uncomfortable interior"...- Vypr GT2

Need some opinions: Corvette Z06 vs. Viper
"The luxury tax died a well deserved death..." unfortunately, this is not true. The luxury tax is still around, but is being phased out over the next several years. New Vipers have a gas guzzler tax of $3000 and luxury tax as well- Vypr GT2

Ripped off by NC Scammer (long)
I had a lengthy email exchange several months ago with someone that "might have" used that name in regards to buying my Viper that was for sale- we settled on a price, were making the arrangements for the sale, etc. when he suddenly started deleting my emails, then dropped his email accounts...- Vypr GT2

I wouldn't be a bit surprised... did you know that a 2001 Viper ACR with stripes stickers for over $90000? With luxury tax, sales tax and registration a current ACR could easily be over $100,000...- Vypr GT2

ACR problems?
As of a few days ago, there were 3 ACRs outside of the shipping room. Two had no hoods and one was in the buff/polish area. My guess is that if yours hasn't proceeded to "finished", it is one of the two with no hood- I am only guessing, but I assume they are waiting for two hoods in the right...- Vypr GT2

until the ...Gen3 body panels get an 85% APPROVAL rating on this bbs...instead of the other way around... Hear! Hear! Those straight edge side scoops have GOT to go! I could live with the new Viper's Camaro SS hood if need be, but the Corvette side is too much, IMHO...- Vypr GT2

What color stripes to put on Black RT?
Sure, there have been RTs with stripes : the white with blue stripes '96 RT the black with silver stripes '96 RT the blue with white stripes '97 RT I've had two of the above- I think RTs look best with stripes!- Vypr GT2

What would be a good price for a 2001 Viper GTS ACR?
Steve, I saw 4 blue ACRs at CAAP yesterday; one in shipping area, one being buffed/polished and 2 that looked finished except they didn't have hoods. Hopefully, yours is among them!- Vypr GT2

LOW PROFILE CAR RAMPS?
I have tried Rhino ramps - they are not anywhere close to low enough to drive a Viper onto them unfortunately. Tried them on a '96 RT, didn't work, had to take them back to Pep Boys...- Vypr GT2
