Great run, thanks alot. We had a great time cruising with everyone. Special thanks to George and his Wife for their graciousness and hospitality. Loved brunch as well. Great day all around.

Agreed to WOT! said. My Factory hardtop fits and works well. I have never used the softtop. I also have factory and after market windows (unsure what brand, came with car.), I do get leaks where the top of windshield and windows meet. I stuff a piece of weatherstripping in and it works. I also...
I think the first step should be what is your budget, the max you are willing to spend and have. Once you have that certain, start searching to see if they're are any Vipers that fit what you are looking for. Then contact the owner, research the car and decide if you want to make an offer. I...
Thats exactly what I did. Bought mine using my own funds or finance it through a bank or card. Then take out the Penfed loan. Found them very easy to deal with and actually quite fast. PM me.
I like the looks and ease of the Lemke Tops and will probably order one over the winter. The hardtop I have looks nice, but when it's on its on. I don't like the factory soft top looks. But we chose to get the last of its kind, I like that.
Have a removable white hard top color doesn't match car. Also hardtop does not have stripes. Did it come w/ blue stripes? Going to get it painted and want it to be as original looking as possible.

Thanks for the vids Nadine. Gonna take a cruise down to Giants Despair and push it a bit. There is one turn that is scary. I have seen many cars lose it there. The turn when you want to get into it but if you do your probably in the hay and hopfully not the trees. Oops, no hay when it's not the...
Really MASH the clutch pedal. My 96 has done this before. If the clutch pedal has L/R movement the lexen bushings need to be replaced. A very cheap fix, but a pain to do for the first time.
I Have been a spectator at Giant's Depair many times, I don't remember any vipers doing the climb. I have driven that road many times but not with my Viper. I will have to give it a shot (Driving it not entering the climb). Not sure if I really want to push it, really easy to lose it...
I don't know if these two things are related. Today starting the car when I push in the clutch, engine would not fire, if I mash it hard it starts. I'm pretty sure it's that neutral safey switch. When I first got the car I had to replace the two Lexan bushings on the clutch pedal, everything has...
Gotta disagree, 96 RT/10 ( Gen 1.5) White w/ Blue stripes is my fave color. Just reminds me of the old Shelbys. 96 Blue w/ White GTS (Gen 2) second fave. That will be my my next addition. I guess to each his own. Don't think I would Stripe a red Gen 1. Thats the car that all of ours came from.
Took car out today and as temp got up I smelled that smell. Didn't see any steam. Turned on heater core no steam. Parked car and notice the tell tale sign of a leak little trail of greenish dots. looked under the hood. I have coolant leak somewhere near the firewall.
Radiator and water pump...
Way too much fun. Today a younger driver (20 something) had a new mustang and wanted to go a bit. I'm saying the car was fast but the driver wasn't. Alot of fun. At the end of it he pulled up and said that I was driving his dream car, I said so am I.
Yea I think the gold wheels is the way to go. Wheels are only cosmetic. Since there are so few I would opt for that and get different wheels if wanted. Vipers are not a mass produced cars and not common, having one that is a "one of" is pretty special.
Most do or sometime a deductable. I just don't know how easy it would be to find. I am sure they are around. But I don't think it is a stock item in most places.
Street tires $1200-$1500 when all said and done. Windshield unknown. I have read that they can be hard to find. Has the windshield been repaired to prevent any further damage? There are some threads here that discuss windshields.
