Buying used Viper then 600 miles home. Advice?
Good advice from all. I DEFINITELY agree with Chris. If you do decide to mash the gas, make dang sure you have the wheels pointed straight unless you want to have an 'off road' experience. Treynor, I see you have the 3" high flow cats. From your post I also understand that you you have a check engine light. What are the codes? Rear O2 Sensors (left and right bank)? MAP sensor possibly? Nadine, I wish it were that easy. The computer looks at left and right bank O2 sensor values and if those values aren't right, you get a check engine light, the ECU richens the A/F mixture and your car blubbers at idle. O2 sims (simulators) can be wired into the harness to replace the O2...- HogWhisperer

can i remove cats and have no problems oo/rt
I tried that.... Never could get the check engine light out. Four sets of O2 sims and 1 map sensor later, I'm ready to put some hi-flow cats back on it. Good luck. Paul- HogWhisperer

Viper places 3rd - cupholders a factor...
Furthermore..... anyone that says the stereo in the ZO6 sounds better than the Viper Stereo must be kidding. If you think the stereo in the Viper is bad, take a listen to the one in the ZO6. Not that stereo matters a whole lot to many of us but please, let's at least be honest.- HogWhisperer

ATTENTION!: ACR HARNESSES found DEFECTIVE!!
Wonder when the dealerships will be notified? As of today (Mar 27), my dealer says no recalls have been issued. Since I have used my belts multiple times at road courses and drag strips I am pretty concerned about this. Incidentally, I find no tag #'s on either passenger or driver side lap...- HogWhisperer
