Try pumping the gas pedal like you would for a car that is not fuel injected when you try to start the car. After you get it started, you might need to hold the throttle down at around 2000 rpm for 30 seconds to 1 minute before the computer will reset. Try this and report back.

Welcome aboard brother (#26001). Here are some new owner tips:
(1) Change all fluids if not recently done.
(2) Get the fuel filter replaced. You might still have the original one. I would have it changed every 10k.
(3) Check plugs and wires and change if needed.
(4) Replace PCV. Very cheap...
Yea, but they get to do the corvette wave to their buddies. That alone is work $100k. Also, they can sit back in their comfortable seats, slide the nanny controls on and be in total control.

I ran 167 at the Tx Mile back in Oct 97 with my 96 GTS. Car has Borla exhaust an a K&N FIPK unit. It was really hot that day and the headwind was between 10 - 15mph.

I suggest you drive one yourself. The feel is a lot different. Everone is different. I know guys that love their 06 and would never trade for a 96 and of course vice versa. Drive a 06 then decide yourself. Personally, I hate the seats in the 06 and do not like the view of the hood (when driving)...
