Don't know how many on this site SB, meaning all boards, but I'd guess only 20 or so post on this forum, and most of them occcasionally. I'm sure there are many present and former VCA members with 5's, who aren't even posting here...can't say I blame them.
Get a life Pops, although I'm probably older than you :) Anyway, I apologize for the imposter remark. I just recieved a pm that you are the guy you claim to be, however, based on several of your snide and condescending posts/remarks in the Gen V forum (certainly not what I would expect from a...
Yes, Chuck Tator is doing some work for me. I bought mine from Woodhouse, so I can't help out regarding a CT dealer...suggest a google search or SRT site that lists all dealers. 50% tracking time is serious...I'd wait for the ACR. Good luck, see ya around.
Correct ViperSmith. This is a very big reason for poor sales. 100's of dealers scared away customers, increasing the msrp trying to re-coup their $25k investment to be a certified Viper dealer, and there are many complaints to SRT, by customers about service at many of these dealers, whether...
Rumors of discounted 2013 Vipers have been floating around, so as a Gen V owner who ordered at msrp a few years ago (no complaints), I thought I'd snoop around to see for myself what may be going on.
Sure enough, looks like $10k and maybe more at some dealers.
Unfortunately I just found out, that advertisment was created by duPont (not SRT) for their Buyers Guide, who solicited dealers to participate in the cost...hence only 9 dealers were listed.
Just saw my first Viper advertisment!!!! It was in Exotic Car 2014 Buyers Guide by duPont Registry...125 reviews. They gave the TA a positive review, and the full page next to it was a Stryker Red Viper with SRT boldly in red under it, followed by only 9 dealers, Woodhouse/Tomball not...
This is by far and away, the best post to date on Vipers sales problems, or I should say correcting them! I'm sure SRT made a nice profit on the first 800 they built and shipped, but the unsold 13's and backed up inventory of 14's at dealers will not bode well for Gen V future, unless they...
I thought it was a rambling treatise and eventual wish list...rather boring too. Certainly, he gave no consideration to the skimpy design/build budget provided by Chrysler, and the overall time constraints, not to mention that the car was dead and buried, until Sergio saw the Stryker Red and...
Maybe not too late chorps, especially if SRT Marketing group recovers from its Rip Van Winkle siesta, and puts their thinking caps on. Remember the Audi fiasco from many years ago, and their lack of response and failure to get out in front of the story...which crippled sales. Same can be said...
Good point (if it's not too late), but I'd take it a step further. Get two ready for prime time stock cars, one SRT and one GTS. Have them alternately driven by two experienced Viper Drivers at a sanctioned track course and a drag strip. SRT publishes the results...freshen them up, change tires...
Pathoguy, you have to READ the Viper book (available on Amazon)...you will be enlightened and thoroughly impressed, and imo it is definately better 'in the flesh' than my previous 09 Viper.
The vast majority of the negativity including poor sales is due to the total absence of Chrysler/SRT...
