Hello people,
Well a friend of mine asked me to help him find a used RT/10. We both work on the viper chassis line at CAAP. He is looking for a viper for around 38k. The number of miles on the car is unimportant as we can fix most everything on the car.
Any help you could give us would be...
Hi Jerry,
Yes, I do enjoy my job. I've been told by more than a few viper owners that they would love to have my job. I did offer to trade jobs with one for a year, but he said no.
What do you do for a living Jerry? Whatever you do have fun doing it.

Justin,
No one has EVER had a problem with people posting on this board for help or just to say"Hi". I don't even own a viper, yet. I don't think anyone has had a problem with me posting. What you will find a lot of knowledgeable car people.
I myself am one of many craftspeople that build...
Are you kidding? I can't even use it as my avatar on this web site. Even though I have a tattoo of it on me. Well, at least I don't know of any, yet. If you find any let me know. I think the new logo is way better than the current one.

This is what I've read and been told. The work force is going to be reduced by 20% starting the end of Feb. 2001 and continue for the next three years. Of those people a little over 19,000 will be hourly. DC is expected to offer some 28,000+ hourly employees early retirement bonuses. As of today...
Hello,
When the Germans took their first personal look/tour of a Chrysler assembly plant (99) the Viper plant was the only one they wanted to see. We heard nothing but good remarks from them the whole time they were there.

Mark,
I'd like to send out a BIG WELCOME from the craftspeople at CAAP that built your viper. From the previous post it sounds like you are going to be a great addition to our growing family. If you're ever in Michigan ( VOI 7 ) stop by and take a tour of the birth place of you car.

Re: What\'s your favorite Viper power thrill?
My most memorable time driving a Viper was the first time. Dann (Southern Calif VCA)let me drive his 94 Red RT/10 from Venice Beach to his home in the valley. I was scared S#%t less. But then I just remembered, you MUST respect these cars and the...
Well I don't have a Viper....yet. But seeing that I build the Viper I guess I'll go to VOI7. I'm not sure what Chrysler has planned for the employees of CAAP. More than 50% of the employees of the Viper plant have NEVER been on the road in a viper. Can you belive that? Any of you viper owners...
Hello everyone,
I'm looking for the 97-99 Viper brochures. I have 3 of the 2000 and 1 of the 2001 brochures. I need the other ones to finish my collection, for now. You see I'd like to have every brochure from the years I've been building the Viper. I already have the 97-99 Christmas Ornaments...
Hello Viper People,
Well Christmas is coming and I know what I want. But, until I can get the real thing this is what I'm looking for...I'd like a Viper chair to go with my new computer desk. Please send me a photo.
Thomas a.k.a. ViperLSS
While you worry about the value of your Viper going up "if" it is discontinued and i'll have to worry how to feed my kids when i'm out of a job.
Thomas
Sorry this was so harsh..
Hello Viper World,
I have a little more at steak in the success of Chrysler than most of you. You see it's my job to build your wonderful cars, the Vipers. We (UAW workes at CAAP) said from day one that this was a take over and not a merger. I wish we had been wrong. In 1998 Chrysler made twice...
