    Alarm is inhibiting starting..help.

I believe the proper way to disarm it after a dead battery is, Set the alarm, then disarm it. That's the way it works on my 94. Good Luck!

    New Web Page

Brad, I honestly can't tell you the answer to your question, I don't know. I'm not sure how the upper shifter shaft attaches on the SVSi shifter or how long the shaft is on it. The B&M Ripper shifter I looked at while at VOI6 had a solid steel upper shaft which looked shorter than stock. I...

    New Web Page

Tony, There doesn't seem to be any problem with the shifter boot bunching up. The recess that it fits in is deep enough that the boot just sits lower in it.

    Warranties on used Vipers??

My opinion is Buy the extended warranty, it's worth the money in the long run especially if you're planning on keeping the car for a long time. Even if you do sell the car it's a plus to the buyer. When I bought my Viper in Oct. 99 the previous owner had purchased an extended warranty (Added...

Exhaust manifold to my Hemi Cuda

Paul is correct in that the Year One reproductions are based on a 1966 casting and have that casting date on them. 66-70 have a choke pre-heater tube on the right side (passenger side) manifold, 71 style have no tube because 71 Hemis used a manual (cable) choke. All right side manifolds are...

What are everybodies fastest 1/8 of a mile times?

The best that I've gotten so far, 60ft time of 1.75, 1/8th mile time of 7.91 @ 88.41 mph, 1/4 mile time of 12.30 @ 111.96 mph. The car's a 94 RT/10 and the only mods are K&N filters, smooth tubes and glasspack mufflers.

Wheel Spacers...Anyone try them... Are they safe?

One of the reasons that you Do Not want to use wheel spacers is that the wheels (factory or aftermarket) are "Hub-Centric". This means that the center hole of the wheel fits snugly on the center stub of the hub on the spindle. The wheels are Not centered by the studs and lug nuts. When you use...

That's a great idea Jon! If they're really serious that amount won't hurt them anyway and it benefits charity. Cool idea!

    Garages

I've got a ranch style house with two garages. The garage on the main level is 32 ft wide by 40 ft deep and has a 10 ft ceiling (I added this garage on to the house). The other one is in the basement and is 40 ft wide by 24 ft deep with an 8 ft ceiling. You can never have enough garage space.

CNN claims new Viper has V8??

The press is in such a hurry to put out information (or is it misinformation) that half the time they get it wrong. That and the fact that most of them are clueless about cars anyway.

    Viper pic / Two Snakes

That's the GTS hood that was on Rob's Viper. It's one seriously screwed up hood. It had been damaged at some point and very poorly repaired . It didn't fit worth a d*mn, the gaps outside the headlights (hood to bumper cover) were about an inch. The front of the hood (in front of the NACA duct)...
