Speed Channel (Test drive 2013 SRT Viper)

Anybody who has watched the show in the past knows that this is the format. If you were expecting something different then your expectations were out of line with reality. The show was recorded months ago and the cars driven were pre- pre- production (lol). The reviews are out and the Viper's...

Is Imitation the Sincerest Form of Flattery?

I agree and another win for the home team. We live in good times when we have a choice between 2 fabulous 2 seat sport cars that continue to thrive despite all of the outside forces that would just simply like to see these cars disappear.

    SRT VS GTS

According to the auto "journalists" the street mode in the GTS can be used on the track and may be the better track mode. This implies that it is stiff. The SRT has been described as a little stiffer than the street mode in the GTS. As to whather either model is too stiff for city driving...

    SRT VS GTS

We just need to understand the GTS dual suspension option. From what we've heard the track mode is just too stiff, even for track use. The street mode is still very stiff and probably will work for 80% of the tracks. It seems to me that this needs to be revised. Maybe the current street mode...

The BBC reviews the 2013 Viper

Here you go: The word “brutal” is frequently used to describe cars that are sometimes uncomfortable, but it was particularly deserved by the early Viper, a machine that provided a shot of animalistic adrenaline to Chrysler when it appeared in 1989. The original concept featured cartoonish lines...

The BBC reviews the 2013 Viper

http://www.bbc.com/autos/story/20121211-2013-srt-viper-gts/2 "Through it all, the 8.4-litre V10 bellows and barks through the side exhaust pipes, always reminding the driver of the violence straining for release. At full throttle the true extent of that violence, in terms of acceleration...
